Yeah, I was wondering if anyone had gotten HG/SS yet. Ordered mine online, so it’s not coming until later this week.
Probably not going to pick up a copy until next week or so.
And I think I’m still going to end up Pokesaving most of my teams if I ever feel like playing again, so I’ll keep all of my stuff on my Diamond.

Wild Weedles hax in this game. Tackle misses 3 times, get poison on first Poison Sting, and takes like 5 tackles with Cyndaquil to beat it. Gastly hunting is go. All the Gastlys I find are lvl 3 too. 
Yeah, lvl 14 Quilava won’t kill it in one hit, amirite?

Exactly. Off the top of my head, I know the Toys 'R Us Shaymin and Regigigas have random Natures/IVs.

Fir mentioned Flareon being cursed with a terrible movepool but don’t forget Luxray. It also has a monstrous attack but a very shallow movepool. Hey Game Freak, give it Volt Tackle!

neat. it still kinda sucks cause you have to get lucky to get the nature you want and even luckier to get one with good IV’s. i would’ve gotten the jirachi but i already have too many :looney:

why did you get both? i never understood why people sometimes get both games…
Because you can experiment with different things in either game. Not to mention the fact that there are loads of “pick one, lose the rest” pokemon.
back then when the earlier games were out i used to want both games but after i sat back and thought about it, there’s literally no difference besides a few exclusive pokemon. i just picked which pokemon i liked more in their respective games and picked that one. i seemed to always pick the more popular one though, lol. red, gold, sapphire, diamond, and now HG.
Yea imma get HGSS late this week, FF13 priority. And yea it’s definitely the same person, I mean Pikachu got Volt Tackle over Lux
