When I saw it was Jolly, I decided not to use it and looked to put it away as soon as the game would let me, just in case.
Caught an Geodude and Spearow and used those that all the way until the town with after the slowpoke well. You can finally go down stairs there so I did a lv100 battle to check IV’s. :rock:
I wonder if I’ll get that lucky when I pick up my heart gold/soul silver :wonder:
Anyway been sometime since I post here, just finished my ingame team in FireRed. Here it is (and yea, I know some natures aren’t particularly great and stuff, but I hate breeding and tried my best putting up with the patience!)

Ideal: Most people like the boltbeamer set, but at lv100 in game it doesn’t matter. Reliable stab should down everything, the only thing bad about him is that he isn’t EV trained. But like I said, ingame it shouldn’t matter.

Ideal: One of my mixed sweepers. Inaccurate, but can still sweep teams pretty solid. Heat Wave over Flamethrower for more power, plus Zard is like the only pokemon to use fly decent enough. Naughty for the extra boost of ATK power. Had Rock Slide, but changed it to DC to take more advantage of Zard’s SP. ATK. And yes, this is the same mander I started with

Ideal: I LOVE this girl (yea it’s female). Why Lax? Got lazy trying to find a Adamant one, but now it can take EQ and just laugh lol. Two STABs, thunderbolt for gyara, just very solid all around.

Ideal: You have to breed to get DD on dragonite this version. So yeah tried to gun for adamant and a decent HP but loss patience. I didn’t have anymore EQs and you only get ONE the whole game wth? Anyway, Iron Tail was the next best thing. HP Rock is pretty good for him, I wanted Rock because it’s one of the better ATK types Dragonite can take advantage of. WA for STAB, a poor man’s stab because I couldn’t think of anything else.

^don’t worry, I think somebody from smogon is cloning it for me. So far, I only have 3 fully EVed competitive pokes ready. Maybe after xmas break I’ll have at least a decent team to battle with anyone
