Man Ho-oh’s special defense is insane. With Light Screen it’s like two blissey’s blocking you in one, I’d forgotten how great this thing was from the G/S days. Sure Fire/Flying is poor typing, but it rocks once you get him going! (no pun intended)
Yeah I was saving Drought, my plan was to drought up then switch in Rayquaza with swords dance effects. Hurry and get in a DD then sweep the field, but things didn’t go as planned.

I didn’t feel to need to explain the obligatory CM Lati MS as it was well…painfully obvious that this PLUS Soul Dew was just stupid.

My first Ho-oh is completely different than that one. It’s a physical sweeper. With the way you used Ho-oh that time, maybe I’ll switch them up.
That’s why I was so glad I got rid of it as early as I did. It’s pretty easy to set up Rayquaza and once it gets going, nearly impossible to stop.
I was counting the number of PP left in Sacred Fire. That’s when I realized I still haven’t used PP Max on my Pokoemn since Infernoman informed me most of you do - and that was like 3/4 weeks ago! :looney:
That was the first time in awhile I was being stalled, so from now on I’m going to be on equal footing. It’d suck to lose because my Pokemon’s PP weren’t maxed out. :bluu:
I was always using that in the Battle Frontier!

Strategy - bring it out vs. a Special Attacker, CM 6 times recovering off damage as needed, sweep.
Ho-oh was generally my second option if Rayquaza didn’t do his job. I try to make it where if one plan fails I can always revert to an second option, and Ho-oh was it. The Sacred Fire boost plus semi-wall worked rather well, with the occasional bonus of 50% burn liking.
Generally, I was testing some stuff around. I think I know what has to go and what can stay put.
