lol, for the past few months you’ve constantly been asking for advice and then saying that you’re not looking to play competitively. if you’re not playing good players you can win with pretty much any team you want. that team is no exception, so no tips necessary

and i’m not looking at playing competitively. im’ just looking at pounding the shit out of my friends. same thing i do to them in just about every game. but right now, there’s still friends of mine that kill my pokemon teams… just looking for something sturdy. that’s all.
the best of my friends uses a weird team…

lucario
garchomp
starapter
alakazam or bronzong
then mixes the last one with four or five different pokemon, including zapdos, jolteon, magnezone, kingdra, and there’s one more that i can’t think of right now…
as for that team that i made, i pulled out tyrannitar for regirock, bronzong for gallade and magnezone for infernape. perhaps that’s a bit more solid, and doesn’t rely on sandstorm.

PS, thing is too, that i can scrape him, but I don’t want to use any banned pokemon. OK we need a serious discussion on the list they have out now. I’d much rather do it there but it looks like the thread already piled up with thoughts 
Wobbuffet going back to ubers is something we all pretty much expected, it automatically guarantee’s at least one poke to be KO’ed on the opponents team.
Spiritomb should of never left OU to begin with. It’s the best Azelf counter in the meta, hell the best psychic counter in the meta plus it guards against fighting. I’m assuming they weren’t too pleased with its poor HP statistics THAT much, but EV’s can fix that to a degree.
Kingdra should be OU. One weakness and a rare one at that, dragon…that could be seen a mile away. Good move pool and ability, I don’t expect this to last very long.
Roserade is definitely questionable for OU. You practically have to breed for HP Fire (not unless you have sunny day weather ball), and it being a grass type isn’t too pleasing in a meta game where grass types teem to suffer a lot. Sure, it can Sleep Powder Stall - but if it had something like Spore then I can see it being OU. That’s just a 5% boost over hypnosis, it’s still likely to miss at times. I don’t expect THIS to last very long, it’ll just scream more Hera users for ones that run T/S sets.
Ninjask I can see going back, B/P sets don’t work as well as they use to. Porygon Z is too frail, BUT I expect it to keep jumping back and forth from BL to OU with THAT special atk. Donphan I never really thought was OU, so that’s a good choice.

EDIT - Now people are questioning S/R. I can’t believe this is happening, it’s just like when they were thinking about Garchomp as an uber a while back.
EDIT 2 - Lol so many people love Roserade on smogon. I like her too, I just don’t think she’ll be in OU for very long. I’m loling at starmie users fearing the rise of roserade, take that non ice beam/psychic ones!!!
Smogon is a shoddy community (as in the java program) so frankly needing HP is no loss.
Additionally while Kingdra should be OU that doesn’t mean he is, frankly they really to just bite the fucking bullet and call OU+BL like standard or top tier or something, its basically what it is.
Whole thing needs to remade like
S= ubers
A= OU+ BL
B= UU
C= NU
as opposed to the current which is entirely meta based, if everyone had a pidgey on their team it would be OU simply because everyone uses it.
chopa, i agree that it’s a very confused system. It’s confused whether it’s tiering on usage or power. But then power tiers would be almost completely arbitrary anyway and useless. At least Usage tiers are interesting AND useful in the sense that you can use them to protect yourself from the most common threats
as for the changes, donphan kinda sucks yeah, and i expect porygon z, kingdra to be back someday.
also surprised to see spiritomb ever gone. that thing is amazing. and immune to fighting, normal, AND psychic… ouch.

He’ll be back, at least I believe. There’s talk that people will start focusing on a agility moveset, an agiligonz lol.
Biggest shocker is probably Kingdra, if it’s just outta using Kingdra then that’s the reason because he’s always in a rain dance team. Other than that I can’t see the reason, the thing is deadly for sweeps.
I really like sub on PZ, I might make a Agility-Z, but I still really like Nasty-Z.
Modest Choice Scarf is an easy way out of the speed problem.
Well the download ones with CS then yep, if you can predict a switch running an agility-z then that’s nothing to laugh about lol. (I laughed :looney:)
Agility would be pretty effective late game, but how would it be for like, a mid game sweep?
I also always name all of my Porygon-Z’s Bachonuvot because thats the name of the first timid one I got off the GTS, and I was able to get several sweeps with it. =)
Everybody I know runs modest, but what’s the max for timid like 300+ speed? I think P/Z would be a very good late game sweeper, by then the walls are roughed up and he can proceed to finish them off. The only problem is the other person might have a late game sweeper of his/her own, which is usually the case. And since everybody in god’s green earth runs modest, expect him to be outpaced by that hidden weavile/garchomp/infernape/etc.
