The OFFICIAL Pokemon thread ver 2.5

thanks for the battle seiken, that was a good game.

give me a sec

GG spidey. Damn, I made some really bad moves in that battle…

Wanna go again?

Edit: Once again, GG. Chain Chomp is surprisingly easy to deal with…

Screw making that new team, no way to really stop Garchomp, and the old team just works better with lesser passes.

study counters…

Wow people still have garchomp issues. Can’t believe people were talking about banning him at one time.

Do you think I haven’t looked at the counters yet? Gawd…

Just about anything can setup if I don’t get a mean look or web something that doesn’t explode.
Gliscor could stay in against it, I’d have to make sure that I can taunt it before it can set up, but Gliscor can’t damage it back.
Togekiss could try to do stall it or something.
Only real hope of killing anything that sets up is to get a Rock Polish passed to Octillery.

Really want a Ninjask to Togekiss to Lucario sweep, then I like Acid Armor Vapereon as another Bulky Pokemon, but then that would leave me at 3 weak to electric.

I NEED ANYTHING THAT CAN STOP SOMETHING FROM SETTING UP AND BATON PASS.
HALP PLEASE

any good hazers out there? i just use weezing or skarm with roar, but i don’t know what i’m doing for the most part.

most common are skarm w/ whirlwind, swamper or hippo w/roar, leads with taunt or encore

The only problem with those is that if I want to get them in, I need to break my chain because they can’t BP. =(
Vapereon is the only I can really think of, but that brings my electricity weakness to 3. =(

xD
Made my day.

^ jolteon can learn roar i think and is a good bpasser. ninjask is not that reliable, i dont know ur movepool or items but id say that ur using sash and that gets fucked by priority moves (mach punch, quick attack, etc) or sandstorm

Fuzzy - How about Umbreon? think is a very sturdy tank can use taunt, mean look, and can help pass a wish if needed. Blaziken is a faster passer.

I’m getting owned by weakness distribution.
Umbreon brings fighting to 3.
If I want to drop Ninjask, then I would replace him with both Gliscor and Zapados to pass both speed and attack, filling up the last slot, but that would bring back my team to where it originally was, but with Togekiss replacing Vapereon.

Roar/Whirlwind
Quick Attackers with STAB bonuses (Basically anything with Aqua Jet, Extremespeed, Ice Shard)
Hazers (Though less common, can phase your statistics. Articuno/Weezing or some good ones)
Pursuits (I think they can still damage you on a BP, if you’re low on health that’s not very good)
Sandstorm (For FSing)

Jolteon can charge beam up a few boosts before BP. Most go with TBolt though.

Yes I know what counters a BP team.

:edit:
Maybe for a lead, I could stick in Jolteon and try to sub down to a Salac and Pass that, then pass that to a attack passer, maybe Gliscor again, then if I’m feeling lucky, try to pass to Togekiss with and Nasty Plot.

The problem is still is that something could easily set up on this, unless I where to roar something away if I have Jolteon behind a Sub.

i’m down for more battles, anybody just let me know

Blah, I’m tired of trying to improve that team, I’d rather make a new team. =P
Someone give me an idea for what kind of team I should make, I was thinking of making a Rain Dance Team.

Base your team around a good UU pokemon like…Toxic Orb Swellow?

I would rather not base an entire around one Pokemon, so I would rather just make a UU team.
Or a Mono type team for the lulz.
And I see that you don’t have a Brawl main anymore. xD

Mono team for the “lulz” eh? Pick the water type, and if you even think of using a fire mono team then you’ll get Tengu Stoned. I forgot to put Link as my Brawl main.

Every time a Mono type team is made, it is always a water team, always.
Trying to decide between a rain or a hail team, but I think I might choose a rain team.
