Octillery is a target, but doesn’t really make a great one because it doesn’t really resist a whole lot, and it needs like an extra agility just in case because it is really slow. And does Cradily even get Baton Pass? =l
what I mean is…those pkmn have suction cups…so they cannot be phazed out…cradily in SS makes it hard to KO. (my vid ver magnifico proves that shit)
a mixed octillery passed Cm and Swords dances and agility is deadly

The reason for a BP team is so that you can get your sweeper ready and have it not be able to be phazed, Octillery does that, but it’s kinda hard to get it both a CM and SD, but still easy to get an agility to it.
you could have had it done when Mr mime came out…
also…focus sashes could mess you up as well…hell I thought about sashing Diablo before the match…if I did I would have kep him in to screw up your chain…
This team made late at night, so I was too sleepy to really think a whole lot about it.

craziest warstory I’ve ever seen was a BP chain from an encored mean looked clefable that passed 6 cms and like 3 agilitys plus maybe a barrier to an octillery that woulda swept had it not missed due to sand veil followed by a critical.
Also octillery may not resist much but it has a great move pool (flame thrower and energy ball plus ice beam and surf).

I’d personally rather use Octillery on a Trick Room team, which I do on my other Trick Room team. xD

I re-made the BP team, but I couldn’t fit in Smeargle, which worries be because if a Pokemon that Phazes with Whirlwind comes a long, I’ll have to end my chain early.

What setup are you trying to run? You could BP Nasty Plot with Togekiss but if you need more stalling time go with smeargle for spore effects. That’s what I do :tup:

This is suppose to be a pass to Octillery, just because people kept on insisting on it.
Rock Polish from Gliscor ----> Smeargle/Umbreon trap -----> Spore and ingrain if Smeargle-----> Pass to Togekiss -------> Pass to Blaziken (bulk ups) -----> Pass to Octillery -------> Pray ------> ??? -----> Profit
Thats what this new team is trying to do.
Still don’t feel really all that safe with Octillery as a receiver, I would normally want him to resist more priority moves, but Ice Shard, and Bullet Punch are good.
I’d prefer him to be immune to SS, and Toxic Spikes, but whatever.
damn that’s a lot of passing, well all I can say is g/l cuz you’ll need to switch in on some things + the other guy can setup something of his own.
My last one just Zapdos Agility to Gliscor to (Mr. Mime) to Lucario.
I like my old one more because Vapereon could stop Chomp.
