is it pointless to have tyrannitar and garchomp on one team?
what’s a good team to make out of this?
right now, i have 7 badges (not looking to compete in any way by the way, except amongst my friends)

Not at all. Actually, Tyranitar’s Sand Stream compliments Garchomp’s Sand Veil ability by raising it’s evasion while Sandstorm is active.

For an in-game team, that’s very solid. Do you have a Dusk Stone to evolve Murkrow into Honchkrow and/or a Dawn Stone to evolve Roselia. If not, I could always trade you one/both.

is it like the old games where when you evolve by stone, you lose their learned moves?
my gabite is 20 levels or so from garchomp… so im’ happy with him right now…
EDIT:
i just evolved, beacuse i’m passed roselia’s moveset.
as for mukrow, i have a somewhat crappy moveset right now… gotta figure it out…
where’s the move re-learner and the move-deleter?

they evolve via stone and nothing more…but no you don’t lose your old moves…if they do learn anything new, you can choose whether or not to have them learned.

Most Stone evolved pokemon can learn moves after evolution, though the moves they can learn can differ from the pre-evolved forms.

You can find Heart Scales by digging in the Underground and they’re semi-regularly held by Wild Luvdisc (which you can’t catch yet).
