Travis, go to the store tomorrow and buy a new router. Seriously.
One that allows me to play in the living room for a change.
ok, let’s try this again.
I have to play while standing near my router, yeah Imma take your advice and get another soon.
Alright, I’ll be on. (gotta get up and stand gah)
I’m two floors above my router and I don’t have problems. :xeye:
Oh yeah!
gg. That match really tested my predicting skills.
Blah gg. Guess I’m down for one more then I’m out, down guru? I’ll be on.
nah, I’m done for now.
k, I’ll be ready next time.
What percentage of people would you say breed their poke’s naturally as opposed to using Pokesav?
What’s Pokesav?
From what I know it’s something you can use to make poke’s with any IV’s you want. I think it’s legal as long as you don’t go over 31 in any stat. The problem I have is that I’m wondering why I should go through all the trouble of raising poke’s if people can just make better ones with hacks.
Yea I’m going to break down and buy the AR for my DS. I don’t really care about IV’s though. Breeding pokemon in game is a hassle, and an unnecessary one when you can just hack.
Depends on where the scene is.
Here I’d say around 10%. For competitive battling it could take months to build a unhacked team with the right natures, EVs, moves, and HPs. It’s a great accomplishment building a unhacked team, however you are in limited options. You have to use that same team over and over, so you become predictable until you build another unhacked team
Pokesav allows you to do pretty much anything within the game. You can make pokemon with any move/abilities/IVs/EVs/etc you want. Although we stick to legal movesets and theoretically obtainable stats around here. You can also change your trainer IDs, name, sprite, give yourself every item x999, max money, etc. It’s pretty convenient and a huge time saver. As Ephidel said, it can take months to breed a team and then you’ll just get countered and need more pokemon. :shake:
the argument is that unfortunetly a lot of people have less time and dedication to put into the game and as such will go to use something like pokesav to compensate for lack of training time.
just because you have hacked pokemon, doesn’t mean you’ll win though. you still need to know what you’re doing as you battle.
This is true. I have haxxed pokemon, and I’m yet to win a match with them.
I didn’t get it because I lacked time, though. Dedication? Perhaps. But indeed, it really does feel like an unnecessarily huge annoyance.
Yea I know for a fact that I’ll still lose, even with pokesav. I’ll have plenty of other options to choose from because of it though. Pokesav can get you some pretty good pokemon, but it’s no substitute for experience. I’m still learning the basics.
one of the fun things I have been able to do with hacked pkmn is give me a chance to experiment with new movesets I have been thinking of in theory. some work out, others…well not so much, but I still need to test more.
I have like, four boxes of legit EV’d Poges, but after that, I started getting bored of breeding new Poges, and I’m going to start hacking them, because I have an entire, and 1/16 of another filled with the EV’s for all my Poges.
