That’s pretty wacky.
I beat No More Heroes last night and started up a New Game+ right away. Gonna try to get the majority of the collectibles/side missions done so I can later focus on my Bitter(hard) difficulty playthrough. Really fun game, the combat kind of reminds of the Yakuza series I hope the 2nd game makes it to PS3, though according to the ending it might.
The boss fights are so fun. You literally have to play footsies with them to beat them, it’s great.
Heh, just 2 more puzzle pieces and i should be able to reach the final stage in Braid, not gonna bother with the speed run trophy though =p
i had to cheat for one piece, and i felt really stupid after.
IGN’s little “Review-Preview” video on Dead Island gives me hope that it won’t be a POS…“Fallout 3 with zombies” sounds damn good to me!

Just beat it, I think you should’ve gotten a gold trophy for beating the game, and another gold for the speed run one, but what the hey.

Mmmmm done with Catherine. Story didn’t flesh out quite as darkly as I thought it would, and little details didn’t come around. Gameplay was good though, it keeps you on your feet, though you never have to worry about running out of continues. Awesome music, and Vincent had some awesome voice acting.
On a side note, if he actually said half the stuff he thought while making excuses to Katherine, he probably wouldn’t have ever got so far up shit creek. 8/10
I agree. I’ve played all 3, and Disgaea 3 was a serious letdown. All in all through, the Disgaea series has a rather unique brand of humor dood, and the only thing you’d truly miss out on is some of the jokes and earlier character recognition if they make cameos. I’d suggest you do what you already planned, Evilryu. The early ones will tell you whether you like the core game itself, and 4 will be similar enough with some new additions to keep it interesting. It’s designed so you can just play and beat the story with minimal grinding, but there’s end game content and whatnot to keep you grinding for days if you want to get the best of the best and max your level.
New main character in 4 looks like a mix of Mao from 3 and Lelouch from Code Geass.

Thanks for reminding me about Braid, Tizoc. I might add that to my weekend plat gauntlet. There’s no platinum trophy, but the only trophy I need, iirc, is the speed run trophy. If I can kill Trine and Arkham in good time, I will add Braid to that shit.
I can possibly do Shank as well. Only 2 trophies for that bitch left as well.
I wanna add Heavy Rain too, but I don’t know how easy/quick it would be to see all 22 endings.

Aw, fucking hell.
One of Trine’s trophies is bugged. If you didn’t get the Treasure Hunter trophy before the update for the expansion, that trophy becomes bugged and even if you collect all of the treasures in the game, the trophy will not unlock.
Only “fix” is to delete all save data and start a fresh, brand new game. Fuck that.
I think I’ll give up on my trophy gauntlet. Kinda want to do other things this weekend, lol. At least I knocked out Infamous 2 and Bayonetta in like a day and a half.
I’ll probably do Heavy Rain and Shank later. Arkham MUCH later. Hate the missions I have to do for that trophy with a passion, not to mention the Trine bugged trophy has killed my motivation to finally knock it out.
