Does Demons Souls have any online based trophies? I just got the game recently and I heard the servers will be shut down next month. That doesnt really bother me as far as multiplayer goes but Id hate to never be able to get certain trophies.
The game isn’t about multiplayer, it’s about MP supporting single player, and the trophies reflect that. In fact, playing offline is greatly preferred if you want to platinum it since you have much more control over the world tendencies.
i’m just saying by proxy. if its simply not going to scare you or do something that’s going to wow you (i.e. good graphics, story, be fun) then whats the point of dead island? that its a combination of other stuff that was good in other games but somewhat shittier, cept now you get them all in one whole underwhelming package?
i think there is some amount of fear zombies can bring, but that is dependent on alot of things, such as mood, presentation, and atmosphere. a sunny island with subpar graphics and a bunch of characters that scream out colloquialisms every time you kill a zombie is obviously not going to sell that…
so while i’m not expecting “shit your pants scary” its just one other mark off the checklist as to why you shouldn’t buy this game. hopefully it finds some element that it can take and own for itself, but considering how that promo trailer got so much praise, i would hope they were gonna at least try “scary” a little bit.
To platinum it, you will have to beat it 2.5x but no trophies involve online.
Trophies are:
Beat every level-Easy
Learn every Miracle-Easy, but will have to beat the game more than once
Learn every Magic-Easy, but will have to beat the game more than once
All Rings Obtained-I don’t think this is that hard, but I couldn’t get one of the rings.
All Trophy Weapons Obtained-Could be medium difficult due to having to control World Tendency to get them all
Upgrade 1 of each kind of “stone” weapon to maximum level-Hard, Pure Bladestone drops are ultra rare. People begged for them on the net for a long time until people figured out how to duplicate the stone.
I have not platinum’d the game, but know what it takes.
I’ve had Demon Souls for months and I just don’t know what to do in that game. I beat the phalanx and some more areas got unlocked but every area now I end up dying in. I still have the armor I started with at the beginning so I’m guessing there’s more powerful armor out there but I have no clue where to get it since I die at the beginning of every level now.
I need more games, the games I have now I already beat or simply don’t feel like playing. I put in FF13 and took it right back out lol, I could play GTA4 but I haven’t played that game in like 2 years and I forgot what I was doing. In need that Baynotta game or whatever it’s called, maybe Assassin’s Creed.
First, armor isn’t what’s important. In fact, if your equipped armor is over half your total equip weight, remove some of it. Whenever your equipment goes over half, you roll gets nerfed, and rolling is way more important. Second, after you beat the first area, beat the first area of every other world first. From there you can kinda do whatever, but the first levels are the easiest ones for every world.

Everything was done so right in the game it’s ridiculous… once you get over the female protagonist(which I didn’t believe I could do, due to hating playing with females in any games) it’s great…
You have to experience it bro… it has to like 10 bucks used by now… maybe 20 new…
I guess that explains why my knight can’t roll for shit lol. I tried every world I really did I can’t beat them, there’s always something that rapes my knight free. Sometimes my knight runs into a blockade of enemies and there’s nothing I can, I don’t think I’m suppose to go over there yet lol. Other times there’s just monsters that take way too much dmg and I’m always trying to block but at some point I die and start all over. I know Dark Souls is getting ready to come out and I wanna beat this game before I get that one.
Yeah seems like everybody has played that game except me. I don’t have a lot of games, I’m tired of playing all these fighters and I will pick up bayonetta.
I get really confused at this issue as to why people have a problem with this (and there are several people I know that complain about this in other games).
Nothing wrong with playing a chic as the main character, honestly. Well, I never saw the problem

I enjoyed the game alot, it was so good, I played through it way more than once… I fucking hate playing as women though(but the game was done so well, I was able to ignore it)…

Update: I was at 98% Trophies on Infamous 2 this morning. Apparently, I missed one side mission, which is programmed to stop showing on the map after a while. This mission was supposed to trigger the last set of side missions that would have given me the last trophy I needed to platinum it. So I have to start the entire game all over again and play through 2/3rd of it just to get this trophy. This alone might fuck up my platinum speed runs for the weekend, but we’ll see. I’m fairly confident that if I had gotten 100% this morning I would have been done with Bayonetta by now and well on my way to finishing Trine’s. Arkham Asylum is the one I see myself having the most trouble with, because of the combat challenges. But we’ll see how it all goes.

played the resistance 3 beta, it’s awesome imo. the graphics are way improved imo, maybe that is why they cut the player cap down. plus it feels a lot less random when there isnt as many players in a game, especially since there is a lot going on in this game. the 2 levels they have are also pretty good level design wise. they allow for many options, mindgames, and choke points, i was quite impressed.
