NMH gave me motion sickness on the motorcycle, poor framerate. I might have killed the first 3 guys and couldn’t play anymore because the shit was awful. I kept the game though. Some of the controls were stupid as well, rotating R3 pushing it in and all that is a bad design.
I thought they did a great job at translating over the controls from Wii to PS3. But I also played the original one to death so the translation of controls weren’t that big of a deal to me.
The biggest issue with the Xbox 360 and PS3 ports last year wasn’t even in-game stuff. It was the horrendous load time, on top of some game freezing glitches here and there (which didn’t happen too often). The in-game controls and camera feels the same in Red Zone Edition. The graphics improved slightly, though.
I am actually quite surprised on how well the controls for No More Heroes translated to DS3, I have no problem with the RS rotating or anything, being the lazy fuck I am I think I am enjoying more playing like this than on the Wii mote lol. But I must say I never played the first NMH before purchasing PS3 version, I did finish NMH2 on Wii around a year ago and I must say that although I’m liking the first game on PS3 so far, the second game is quite the superior game IMO, as if they skipped all the bullshit from the first one (judging by the 8 hours I’m in the game currently) and strengthened the good things. I would definetely replay the second one with a DS3 if given the opportunity.
