Bout to hop on my Welcome Back PSN+ subscription (didn’t know it would expire soon) for Uncharted 3. Is there anything cool/special I should know about PSN+? I’m about to have it for 30 days and want to get the most out of it.
Has anyone had problems withthe Ethernet ports on their Slim PS3s?
Whenever I try to tun a connection test it always fails and it just started doing so out of the blue.
At first I thought maybe I had a bad ethernet cable so I bought a new one and I’m having the same issue. 
And the PS3 reads the ethernet cable because I get the “disconnected” message whenever I take it out of my laptop.

BTW, how should I set my DNS in my PS3? If I set it to a specific number, will it affect anything else?

Somehow this game slipped by me completely undetected until now. This looks like something I could get into for sure.
Been getting sort of a JRPG itch lately but I already own Valkyria Chronicles. What else is there? Is Resonance of Fate any good?
RoF is good, but its far from your standard jrpg, battlewise.
it’s definitely fun…once you understand the battle system. its pretty solid, but it doesn’t hold your hand at all. they give you directions, but the tutorials are bugged out and hard to understand. i had to read up on some faqs just to do basic shit, like unlocking the maps, understanding what bezel’s are, wtf to do when you’re in critical, how to get resonance points so you can do tri-attacks… etc etc… but once you start getting it and run through a bunch of battles, the amount of strategy is refreshing from your standard jrpg…
its not an amazing looking game, but the gameplay is fun. story has alot of humor, the characters have a certain style, and dressup is always fun.
unless you are yakuza 4, then dressup is the worst thing ever.
I’m all too familiar with Yakuza 4 dress up. I had to wait until nobody else was home to get through that shit to avoid the embarrassment.

And FF13 was a good ass game. The Ultimate Weapons were ass to get though so I didn’t do any of that end game crap.I am just getting old and want to use my time for better things like eating tacos and watching sports on tv.

I enjoyed FF13 for what it was. Enough to be interested in 13-2 anyway and whatever the hell Versus 13 is.
