Well, there is different versions of HDMI cables. The current one is version 1.4 I think. You may have gotten an outdated version is all. Other than that there is no difference in getting an HDMI cable from Amazon for 3 bucks and getting one for 30 bucks from BestBuy except the price. There is absolutely no difference in A/V quality between the “good” cables from BestBuy and the cheap ones you can get on Amazon.
We actually spoke about this a few pages ago, but just to reiterate: In 99% of applications nowadays, you don’t even need the 1.4 cables. (1.4 supports Ethernet over HDMI and resolutions that go much higher than your TV). If you get a v1.3 cable, you’ll be fine, and save yourself a few bucks (even from the bargain sites, such as monoprice, firefold, etc.) 1.3 supports 1080p, uncompressed audio, 3D, etc.

some tv’s will lag more depending on how its converting each signal, but cables really do nothing. lag is almost ALWAYS caused by upconverting and post-processing, unless your signal is going though a bunch of different boxes.
in general, i don’t trust lcd’s for shit, and i still use a 720p tube for gaming…
Back from Vegas again xP During my time away, I beat Hard Corps with Leviathan and Sayuri so far. All in all, that game is awesome! I’m so happy that I picked it up during the Plus sale. I’ve been playing it every chance I get and still haven’t tired of it in even the slightest. Right now I’m just trying to level up people in Rising Mode. Quick question though. All these extra action chips; how do they work and can you have more than just 1 activated at a time? I use Bullet Reflect, but can’t figure out how Vault, Dodge, or Super Tackle work. Is it because only 1 can be equipped at a time?
You can have every action on and I’m pretty sure the game tells you in the tutorial mode somewhere what each action does.
Vault lets you jump over small obstacles like crates while in your run animation and while vaulting you are invincible. You can also vault over low steps and the Crocodiles in lvl2
Dodge is the same idea but only activates as you approach enemy fire.
Ambush is also the same, but only works while approaching an enemy. It makes you sidestep them and if you press the attack button after doing that, you’ll fire a shot that kills them instantly. Doesn’t work on every enemy, but works on most of the basic ones.
Super Tackle hits things like sandbags and explosive barrels and any enemy caught in the path takes damage.
So for every action except bullet dodge, you have to execute them by pressing the action button WHILE running.
Is that a physical remodel, or just BD component output taken out?
Word, I own a VIERA and it’s the shit. I had firend come over and play SF on it and he bitched and complained that it lagged so i tested and it came out with close to 0 lag at all. it’s a 46in. I love my TV.
All newly manufactored Blu Ray players will no longer support HD resolutions for Blu Ray movies displayed through component starting 2014. This is just Sony complying with the new standard. Games/other content will still be HD.
Of course, if you have an older model, this doesn’t affect you at all.
My mom mailed my PS3 to me today. Huzzah! Should have it back by the end of the week so I can buy all the games I’ve been missing out on. Might even get Catherine cause despite it looking like (and basically being) a really bad animu turned video game, it looks mildly entertaining.
You guys having cord issues just get your hdmi from here you’ll be str8. especially if you have to run the cords from a distance.

I didn’t get vanquish when it dropped but i just got it for 20 bucks I really feel like I robbed gamestop cause I love that game. Demo was the truth but the game is just so polished and fun.
Also I never got into red dead but everybody tells me its the truth Imma cop it is it that good?
If you like sandbox games then you’ll like it. If you don’t or you expected something really interesting from the trailers they had, it won’t be converting you
