1- My PS3 is still at the repair shop and hoepfully I get it back tomorrow XP
2- I have one game in my backlog I wanna finish off first so I can trade it in for Twisted Metal =/
No biggies though, I only have 2-3 other games I want to buy by the end of March, so I’ll try to start it along with my Yakuza 3 replay (which reminds me…I only played UC3 up til the hideout and haven’t played it in days XD)

So um MainEvent isn’t doing anymore video game videos after this week. He got a lot backlash for jumping on Angry Joe about the online pass situation for Kingdom of Alamur and for Jaffe’s comments. Apparently he’s fed up with “ignorant” people backing gaming companies and such. Good riddance i guess. As cool as it was for him to throw out news and call companies out, i kinda hated him for speculating stuff that never came to pass.

Speaking of super saiyan, I wish the characters got a hyped-up form when they went hyper beast rather than just a flashy light show around them. Spiky fur, bigger muscles…and maybe a lil’ ssj2 occasional electricity flickering across their bodies, and SCV-style impact waves in addition to the standard hit-sparks when you strike an opponent. Hudson’s fucking up at a time when fighters are cashing in. I’d get all the characters in there for one last go-round on Ps3, 360, and Vita, all the series’s stages (except for br4…shitty stages), everything looking like Primal Fury, with all the series costumes selectable, and everyone with their lost moves restored (Yugo gets his flip kick back, Alice gets her BR1 “Wait n Bash” back, etc). Bloody Roar: Hyper Beast Duel. (as opposed to the psx/arcade BR1 jp title: Beastorizer: Hyper Beast Duel)

Only thing to bring back from BR4 is Reiji, Prison Stage, and Freezer Stage. I always planned that if I ever used an ice character in a fg and made a combo video, i’d use Freezer Stage track as music for the video. Unfortunately I don’t much care for ice characters or combo videos. And last time I played BR4 I went beast mode with Reiji and did a backflip and froze the game.

Which is perfect, because my Mass Effect saved data is on that system and… nothing else.
Well, even though PS3 has like no games, it makes a good Blu-ray player.

Sandbox Mode is the greatest side-mode Dead Rising has ever had. Gives me time to peruse Fortune City (there’s a Mega Man 2 movie poster done in the same style as the MM9/10 boxarts) & freely inspect all items for some kind of interaction (you can make Frank run an exercycle, to which he will comment “I’m too old for this”). I’d still want the constant time restraints of vanilla mode though, just to minimize those “WTF do I do now?” moments I often experience in open-world games.
I launched Home for shits n’ giggles. I’m truly surprised it’s still going; thought Sony would’ve dropped it long ago. Some of the free games they offer are…decent; they remind me of some of the better XBLA Indie Avatar games. Best is Fortune Hunter. It’a TPS but you’re more or less relegated to staying behind cover the whole time. Still pretty damn good for being completely free. If I could just launch it from the XMB instead of through Home, I’d probably pay a few dollars for it.

What ever the price for Force Unleashed will be too high, I have seen the CE version listed on sale all the time for $25, regular version less than $20. The game is alright, pretty short and easy. The fight at the end was annoying.
I’m balls deep in Reckoning, gonna hold me over just fine until Yakuza Dead Souls comes out in a couple weeks. I still got plenty of games on my backlog, Mass Effect 2 being one of them. I will not buy ME3 until I beat ME2, which I’m only a few hours in and last play several months ago.
SFxT, don’t know if I’m buying the Vita version for $40 or get the PS3 version. I would only play it for fun anyway, Vita might suffice and get PS3 on sale later.
I don’t wish ill on the man but i will say he did have an impact on others. I browsed through his facebook fanpage and people are pretty much trying to pick up where he left off. We’ll see what happens.
@dayday- Yeah I’ve known about the game’s pros and cons for a long time, it’s why I haven’t picked it up yet XP

Anyone else picking up Silent Hill Collection when it’s released? Most site says 3/20/2012. I’m personally hyped for it: Silent Hill 2 gave me nightmares back when it was released. I can only imagine how it will be in PS3…!
