I just… I just want to be loved in live in a world with peace!
Look, Mass Effect 3 demo made me jizz so many times, you know that part around the crouch area… I don’t wanna go into detail but it feels sore there.
Even with the goofy animation errors and glitches, the game still seems awesome.
I have no BD problems, and I have the same model PS3 as you guys(160GB Uncharted 1 model, same as non-chrome 80GB’s but with a bigger HDD.) I’m careful putting games into my system, and, when I’m done, I always make sure to not keep the game in the drive when not playing.
The PS3 manual even says to not keep discs in the PS3, take them out whenever you’re not playing. I think doing this is one of the things thats kept my PS3 running like it’s brand new for the past couple of years. Now I do the same thing with all my old disc-based consoles.
So I got Grand Turismo XL, the back of the case says “requires 225 mb” of space…the manual says you need 225 mb, but recommends you have 10 gigs…put the game in my system “you must have 2200 mb of space to play this game”…Like WTF, that is just straight up lying. That wasn’t even including the update, and the load time were garbage anyway so I broke down and just installed the whole game. I mean, it just struck me as bad game design, having to go to my “vehicle deliver” just to use a coupon to get the thing I already downloaded and installed moved to my garage…
The first couple of races I did were a complete blowout as you get the redbull xwhatever supercar prototype and there are no restrictions…got the “speed demon” and “111 meters a second” trophies in my first couple of laps.
I was also kind of pissed to not find the top gear test track (honestly, half the reason I bought the game), thankfully it unlocks pretty quickly.
I’m not a fan of Racing simulators. I love arcade racers, the faster I can go with retarded handling+weird power ups=the more fun I have. Midnight Club L.A. and Burnout: Paradise are my two favorite arcade racers this gen. Spilt/Second and Blur were fun too.
I feel like I’m controlling a tank when I play Gran Turismo and that I’m driving in slow-motion.
GT5 has some awful load times even after the full install. I still like the game, mainly because I have a wheel+racing seat setup. Plus the 3D on GT5 is bad as fuck, very nice depth perception.
So is GT5 XL just GT5 with download vouchers, or is it a different disc with all DLC on disc?
Has anoyone else ever downloaded a demo that corrupted while they were playing? It scared the shit out of me.
The Mass Effect 3 demo crashed on me about 20 minutes in, then I had to do a hard reset and I crossed my fingers that my HD wasnt bricked.
Could it have had something to do with me downloading the demo, then turning my PS3 off and then resuming the download a few hours later? This has never happened in the 5 years that I have owned a PS3. Because if so, I wouldnt mind the next update allowing you to “pause” downloads. That shit was so not cool.
I don’t recall that happening to me, but I know the past couple of years I select “power off after download completes”. I don’t ever download something and turn it off in the middle, but have had the power saving mode turn off the PS3 in the middle before. I changed the power saving settings after that,to not let that happen anymore.
So, the 60GB PS3 Twisted Metal problem is actually fairly rare. It seems like it can happen with all backwards compatible models though. The devs are working on finding out why it happens, and trying to fix it. The reason they didn’t realize it was rare in the beginning was because one of the people who got the game before release had the problem, then he posted it over a ton of forums, on Twitter, and a couple youtube videos. So, it looked like it was a very common problem as the game was coming out. Jaffe said that reports show that it is not common.
so when i was trying to delete my resistance 3 game data it got corrupted and now i cant delete it at all. does anyone have any experience with this and how to actually remove the corrupted data? i would like to get rid of it because it’s still taking up place and i have a 30gig ps3 so space is a scarce resource.
GT5 has done a much better job of handling the sensation of speed, especially on some of the longer tracks like Nürburgring.
ive been playing no more heros on the ps3 and man i wish they would have touched up that game a little bit. it has some serious fps problems. one thing that crossed my mind while playing was that it would be tight if the game had a watercolor filter that you can play with, i think it would look pimp.
What? I was hoping you were implying like REAL arcade racing games… BECAUSE THOSE ARE THE BEST!!!
Wangan midnight racing?! WANGAN MIDNIGHT RACING IS AWESOME!!
Get out of here with that initial D bull shit, we got some REAL RACING HERE!!!
Got the guy who did the music for Street of Rage, music was too epic.
Don’t even get me started on the boss music on that game.
