i have part 3. what happened is i installed part 3 and saw that there was a story background for parts 1 and 2. and then speculated that there would be a story background for part 3 in 4 so i opted to not play 3 and go straight to 4.
I got enough gamestop awards for either a blu ray controller or 20 dollar psn card(what I narrowed down). Playing ff9 with my current setup, it’s visual pixel diarrhea, are the ps1 games you can get off psn are a different version from the disc or will I have to strain my eyes?
Well I got a Phillips that I got back in 2009, it goes to 1080p though it automatically sets to the most optimum resolution, and there’s nothing that I can do to set it to a lower setting, the tv just does it. So I know I mentioned about switching the hdmi cable to the standard RGV cable that came with the console a while ago, but someone said it would be pointless, IDK, I don’t want to resort to spending money and I’m a bit lazy right now.
^ lol yeah right, just stock pile money and keep the free weapons you get in RE4 until you get to the castle, buy the semi-auto sniper rifle, and the new shotgun…
Keep original handgun that when fully upgraded get critical headshots out the ass…
EASY MODE…
The older resident evils, despite not holding up to the test of time, are EASILY more scary… the Resident Evil series is too much about killing things now… they are supposed to build up tension by throwing a whole bunch of red herrings at you(dogs barking but there are no dogs anywhere near your location)…random dead body falling on you, but it’s just a human body, etc…
Lost in Nightmares DLC made me miss that… I can’t kick down doors like some kind of movie hero, you’re forced to progress slowly and carefully…
I forgot about upscaling if I turned it on or off(is that an option in the ps3?) but I did try smoothing and it helped a little. So if ps1 discs are ISO’s what would make the ps1 games you get from the psn store?
