U3
Spoiler
The mystery of whatever was in the thing was the point. Marlowe was more informed than Drake about the situation though, since she belonged to the ancient order of magicians, and wasn’t exactly poor or stupid.

[details=Spoiler]That’s debatable though. The “Deception” of Drakes Deception is that Francis Drake never told the Queen what he found. He just said “fuck it”, went back and lied. So how would Marlowe even know what he found? Why would she have her guys following Drake around to mooch off their progress if she knew?

U3
There were lots of deceptions since that was the theme (Charlie scamming Marlowe, Nate not being a Drake, probably other stuff I’m not remembering). Marlowe knew at the very least bits and pieces about the place even if she didn’t know the exact location. The sherpa dude or whatever in the desert even knew about the history of the location and he was just a guy that lived in the area.

[details=Spoiler]uncharted endings are never known for being great. the whole idea that some ancient pcp is perhaps the least worrysome thing to go after, considering what axeman said: they already had something like that.
i can perhaps see it being a big deal, but there was no outlying plan laid out. there wasn’t a grand scheme that was unveiled. in the end, the old chick just wanted to throw a big rave and drake narc’d on her and killed everyone around her and destroyed an ancient civilization.
the end overall just really fell apart after a strong 2/3rds of the game. well… alot of things fell apart in the last 3rd. overall a very entertaining game, but you wish it was a bit more tightly knit as the end of a series…[/details]
one thing i like about the uncharted series is the story is believable and there’s a little bit of the supernatural towards the end to make it exciting. kinda like indiana jones.
Shoutouts to The Last of Us for giving us a rushed U3.
They rushed the game’s development so they can make a short 4-5 min CGI cutscene?
Trine 2 should be out this week on US PSN with a demo, get hype~
[details=Spoiler]That’s my thing too. Well, aside from other, nitpicky things. The only solid thing we know about Marlowe’s plan/motivation at the end is that we definitely don’t want her to have whatever’s in that vessel.
The bad guy in U1 had a (massively stupid) plan to sell El Dorado to the right buyer.
Lazarevic in U2 was on the cusp of eternal life, and you didn’t want that asshole to have it.
Marlowe… perhaps… wanted to weaponize the source of a hallucinogen. Now, the hallucinogen seems powerful. It either has the capability to make everyone who ingests it see creatures of smoke and flame, or has the ability to make someone hallucinate specific things that were suggested to them as if they were 100% real. Either of those are scary, unique hallucinogenic qualities that can be “expanded” with further development into something devastating. But what was she going to do after that? What was her plan for world domination?
Then there’s the possibility that there WAS a Djinn in that vessel. Which makes you wonder how the hell she was going to control it.
I really want to just take the game’s plot for what it is (because the game was awesome). But I’m feeling a bit let down by this twist. I hope they don’t go Shyamalan and really start sucking at these.[/details]
Is Renegade Ops worth getting? Its on sale in EU PSN.

Replace Nathan Drake with Nick Cage and you have national treasure
So I forgot about my gamestop rewards points, had enough points to get $19 for psn, copped that psn+ for another 3 months!
I haven’t played U3 yet, but I don’t know if I want too.
I just want to see a friend of mine beat it and call it a day.
Eh, just play it so when Uncharted 4 comes around, you can temper your hype.
There’s not much to teach. Just try to remain calm when shooting and the skill eventually develops. You may want to mess around with the aiming sensitivity for what works for you. Other than that, you can always watch a replay of a match’s best player. You’ll see that a lot of the kills will come from using the best weapons, boosters, and kickbacks, which you don’t have access to in the beginning.
No, they’ve been developing that game secretly for the last two years, and they split the dev team so they were working on the two titles simultaneously. They tried to downplay it by saying they had the same amount of resources allocated, which is bullshit because they sure as shit didn’t have all the new guys working on the new game while the senior staff finished up U3.
How does UC3 feel rushed BTW? Haven’t played it yet ^_^; My brother did finish it and while he noticed the aiming issue it didn’t deter from the gameplay and he fully enjoyed it. Plus that arab pirate dude was hilarious~
Speaking of which I should still have a code for getting the UC3 DLC at a discounted price if anyone wants to trade for it or such.
Finally Keiji Inafune confirmed as a special attack in Neptunia II:
Aiming Issues which they would have found with more QA testing
Chapters 8 and 9 (maybe 9 and 10) use the MP character models instead of SP
Forgot/didn’t have time to add in motion blur which was patched in later
No cheats at all because they didn’t have time to get them to work
Story is less polished
It says something about ND that UC3 was a little rushed and it’s still better then 95% of the shit that came out this year. And at least their patches actually fix their games instead of breakin em more.
Anyone sitting at their PS3 right now? If someone is, could you check the price of Space Ace for me? If it’s still $5 I’ll pick up a prepaid card on the way home for it.
U3’s multiplayer is where it’s at.
