My only worry with XIII is it having absolutely no scene at all.
Given the new gen of “gamers” being, well, themselves re: utterly retarded, devoid of anything even resemblant to o.g. gamer attitudes towards anything not “mainstream”, and completely lacking the desire to, y’know, learn how to play something outside of their A,A,A,A,A,A=Awesome l33t skills… yeah.

I heard this collection also has the original two games. How are they?
It reminds me of the movie ‘The Island’ where the action/cgi team had a action, explosion filled freeway scene, but it wasn’t in the script. Michael Bay said to shoot it and he would make it work.
Regardless, I still love the game. Multiplayer is great, I want to do co-op with people who are not idiots. So, PSN ID: FrankDeluded (I have a mic.)

So like all KOF games? GGPO/Supercade/whatever doesn’t count.
There are no ultra’s, comeback mechanics and you actually have to gain your meter. KOFXIII won’t go anywhere.
That being said, despite me not liking KOF (or SNK as a company) I am tired of Capcom over-saturating the market and people thinking they know how to make fighting games or they are the standard. It’s killing the community because everyone is trying to make the new SFIV like everyone did with SFII 15+ years ago.
Do I hope KOFXIII does well, ends up at evo and gets a big turn out? Absolutely. A fresh face in the line up is always good. MK deserved its spot and all the awards it got. I hope it comes back next year.
But my general impressions of KOFXIII is its no different from any other KOF except it’s shinier. Will actually playing it (if I ever do) sway me? Maybe. We’ll see.

Aww yea got dat Uncharted 3. Those K-Mart deals are slick. Got a 30 dollar coupon from Batman: Ac, used it on UC3 making it only a 30 dollar purchase and got ANOTHER 15 dollar coupon towards any game i like. Thinking of putting it towards Sonic Gen but haven’t decided yet. Either way score.

Yeah K-Mart is the truth. I have 2 more $20 coupons, I will use one on MGS Collection, and next week use the other on Rayman.
Black Friday ads will be out before Thanksgiving though, worker bees steal them from the press and scan them and upload them. Check slickdeals.net, they will have a whole Black Friday section.
The ship part was not added to show volumetric water tech, the developer’s already had that scene in there and said they were going to fake the waves and stuff, but one of their guys said it would be easier to create a dynamic wave system because it would take less memory.
I agree about the breakneck pacing, but it didn’t bother me, just felt like a fucking insane rollercoaster.

I wanted to use the $20 from UC to buy a $20 PSN card, and another card for 20 minus the points I have (which would be 7 or so bucks off), then use the $15 coupon from that in the following week to pick up another PSN card, which would be $60 psn points for like $18-- but this Kmart is always sold out of the $20 cards.
Lame. Just looked it up and point cards don’t count for the coupon.
I heard they did, but never tried it. I was thinking about getting a card with it too for Batman DLC, but will just throw it on the games. I think I’ll get another $15 from Metal Gear since it’s $50 and throw that on Rayman as well.

Don’t forget to use your points. I have 7k for some reason (which is $7-- I think I bought something during an insane multiplier weekend), and you can cash them in as real money during your purchase. You gain them really slowly though, since you only get 10 points per dollar.
Yeah, I keep forgetting. I have over 10,000 and says 800 is expiring next month. I had to look it up last week. I was like holy shit 10,000:wow:, then I was like only $10:bluu:. It’s still better than nothing, and the deals they have on the games itself can’t be beat.
