Personally, I found Oblivion, Fallout 3/NV to be extremely boring games. That and yeah, they’re full of bugs. I’ve never had a game crash my PS3 as much as a Fallout game.
I’m in the same boat. I was so excited when Oblivion came to PS3 because I heard people that had it for PC/360 talk about putting in 100s of hours. Played Oblivion for maybe 3 hours and was bored to death. Fallout 3 was a better experience to me, but didn’t hold my interest too long either.
Not giving a shit about Skyrim at all. If anything I would pick up the GOTY version on sale next year. I bought Fallout:New Vegas On sale at Bestbuy brand new for $10, still sealed on my shelf.
I just prefer 3rd person view in games over 1st person, and when you put those games in 3rd person, your character’s animation don’t look right, and battle system doesn’t work right either.

So I have a ps3 slim that’s not reading discs properly. The strange part about it is that it’s I only some games. I can play SSF4 and pretty much all my older games perfect. If I pop in Dark Souls I have to reset the system about 30 times until it finally loads past the first screen. MW3 I get nothing but disc errors while occasionally I got into a game then get booted to the main menu eventually with another disc error.
My question is, if there’s anyone supa-smart in here is does that sound like I should just replace the drive? I took it apart and cleaned the lens last night, and it’s exactly the same. I used a Q-tip and alcohol.
Im about to get that game Payday(Heist) I played a bit of the demo and that shit was fun. If anyone wants to play add me and send me a message saying who you are on here!

I know I might be a little late but I just copped the ICO/SoTC collection on Monday and its amazing. I missed them the first time around due to having an Xbox but now I see why the two games got so much praise back then

peacewalker is amazing, i will pick up HD collection just for that game. has anyone had any experience porting over their PSP save file, like how does that even work? I heard it is possible, just wondering if anyone has tried it.

Sigh…UC3 is a good game, but it’s definitely buggy, and I don’t even really notice bugs in games. Overall it’s pretty “eh” this year if anyone knows what I mean. Shame it was obviously rushed. Damn shame.
And I haven’t played MP ever since I shot someone point blank with an RPG just a few feet away from me and they only doubled over from the hit. After a slight moment of awe and before I could finish him with my pistol, I got KARA kicked in the head from behind. Like a weird glitchy telekinetic melee. Even the guy who killed me knew the whole scenario was bullshit. He laughed and apologized over the mic. I was so pissed. I waited until i respawned, then I roll->grenade kamikazed 2 guys. And then quit as soon as I heard the kill chime and a “FU-” over the mic. Shut the power off from the system.
Dude, I haven’t turned my ps3 off manually any this year. Wow.
How does MGS HD look? Did they use the GCN port that Silicon Knights produced?

I’m on the fence about getting UMvC3 still. Like…aside from Strider, Fire Brand and Rocket Raccoon I could really care less about the game. It’s just not Marvel vs. Capcom to me. And I already know I’m not getting KOFXIII (I’m actually genuinely upset they are releasing that garbage on my birthday).
I should just sell my sticks.
