I thought that one Castlevania game was coming to PSN soon (the online one).

UC3 beta thoughts:
Feels kinda weird so far. Damage seems a little low outside of power weapons. Not really used to sprinting, but it’ll probably feel better over time. Power plays come with too low of a deficit, and while they may add to the game, feel a little out of place. And fuck overtime. One game paid boosters are dumb too.
Good stuff? The maps are interesting. Loadouts are a good idea, and seem to work well. Gameplay is still good.
Yeah, there’s plenty of dumb stuff I’m not liking in this game right now. For one, they gimped us. You used to be able to run faster and the guns shot faster by default. Now they toned that back in the name of boosters and gun mods. I’m also not liking paid boosters or power plays.
AND there’s stuff they didn’t fix from U2:
-Still takes entirely too damn long for someone to die.
-Friendly fire on grenades/power weapons. I’m starting to not even go for the damn hammer anymore, because I always find an enemy when a teammate is shooting at him from a few feet away. I could blow them both up, but who knows if that teammate might blow me up looking for revenge (or a power weapon, if I get one in the future)?
-Turning speed when aimed in is too damn slow.
I’ll try my best to work it out with this game, but I’m not sure I’ll like it by the end.

I didn’t use it to it’s full capability (MW2/COD4 still took up most of my playing time), but maybe you guys can. He has a couple U3 vids and made a bunch of U2 vids back in the day.

Will I still be able to play the games I downloaded off Playstation Plus when it expires? I can see there are a lot of free games on there.
Unfortunately, no; after your subscription lapses, the games become unavailable for play. Anything purchased with discounts applied due to PS+ are still yours though (obviously).
Possibly worth noting is that any games that you get as a gift remain yours even after your subscription lapses (e.g., I got a PM with a free copy of Hamster Ball as a thanks for being a PS+ member). Though, I think there have only been like two games in the last year that they’ve given out that way.

You will improve. It’s instinctual. I hated shooters until I tried U2’s multiplayer. Even now, my usual is 5-6 kills in multiplayer with a lot of assists (but U2 was really bad at noticing assists)…but sometimes I just start beasting, getting consecutive kills and getting in the zone, and when the match ends, I’ve racked up 18 kills.
I have a coworker who didn’t redeem his plus account invite. Is it too late for him to do so in order to try U3 (I’ve been telling him about it and he’s a little intrigued)? I don’t want to give him my U3 code from Infamous 2…you know, just in case something goes wrong and despite assurances, we temp plus members lose our plus content after the membership expires.
I don’t think its too late. He should still hurry anyhow.

So I bought that game Proun that I mentioned earlier and said that I hope gets a console release. It’s not as fun as it looks. It just feels… empty. It would still feel better on console, but whatever. I’m pretty disappointed with it. =/

Been playing U3 for a bit, got to level 21 and it’s quite sick. Feels very slow compared to U2 but I got used to it, and I think the jumping towards ledges can be funky at times; especially on the plane chase map. That map is jokes if you’re on hero side, just wait till they try to climb on the plane from the side and throw a grenade on the stairs to get the first kill lol.
I haven’t had a problem with people taking long to die when I shoot them. Just shoot them in the face and they will go down QUICK unless you’re using a pistol; there’s no reason you should ever lose to a pistol if you have a long gun, unless you come across those guys that run and gun with the micro in close quaters and melee you when they get close.
I’m liking Speedy G myself, since the game feels a bit slow it adds the speed I need and gives me an advantage in firefights. Also godlike for them times you turn a corner and there’s like 3 guys and you need to make an escape. I tried smoke bomb and the first thing I thought was “lol broken”, practically never died that match when I started to stack some.
Anyone else got the “Yipee ki yay” medal? Was ziplining on Chateau, thew a nade at the destination and blew 3 guys up. Awesome moment.
