Man, I didn’t realize the MGS HD collection was coming out so soon. I’m gonna buy that on the 8th, then play Peace Walker until UMvC3 comes out.
After playing Arkham City, I feel bad for Infamous 2.
Some of it isn’t a fair comparison, since with Arkham they already had a universe and characters/ideas to pull and build from, but Infamous still gets blown up in things like combat and especially navigation. Shit, *Catwoman *navigation is better than in Infamous, and she is a damn side character. Not to mention that AC was their first go at a sandbox environment, and Infamous was already on their secon try.
I hope for part 3 they take more inspiration from Batman. The best move to get around in Infamous was the ice jump, and that was just mediocre. And with the batclaw, it just makes the lightning tether seem like such a damn wasted opportunity.

I finished Infamous Festival of Blood and you get an ability that lets you fly around the city at a really high speed. It drains your blood meter but once you bite a civilian you’re good to go again. The next Infamous game needs a reason to give Cole flight because it was so satisfying here.
Actually Festival of Blood was a pretty cool DLC anyway. Great Halloween special of sorts.
See, and you play Batman and you wonder why you need a bar to do that shit. Why did any of Cole’s powers take energy at all, ESPECIALLY the ones used only for mobility? And if they wanted to balance out combat, then I would have preferred cool-downs. If they give you an MP bar, why wouldn’t you just always cast the best spell?
It wasn’t a bad game, and I’m not regretting my purchase, but playing Batman makes me see how much better it could have been. And I kinda hope the next game isn’t Cole.

I just started playing it, and that flying is bad as fuck. I wish more DLC games were this high quality. You know how games cut shit out, cuz it doesn’t fit or they didn’t have time. Polish that shit up, and release it.
Infamous:Festival of Blood is high quality.
Cole kind of fragile with the health though. You have to just go apeshit on everything, if you try to finesse it you will die.
I was a little confused on all the meters and stuff. I got it figured out after a little bit. I was dying with full blood meter, and electricity and it kept saying find electricity to heal faster. I figured it out after dying the 5th time.
I haven’t beat Infamous Uno yet, but I’m on the final island. I own Infamous 2, but ain’t opened it. Since this was a stand alone and discounted on PS+, I picked it up.
The game isn’t canon with the other two so you’re good to go on that. I wish more games had these kinds of “holiday specials.”
My brother just laced me with the AC/AA GOTY pack out of nowhere. Rest of my weekend = DONE.
Lmfao, let’s hope. I still don’t even know if I’m picking it up Tuesday, even though I reserved it and dropped $35 on it already. I just think that it’s not a “must own” for me right now as I’m surely hearing that the game is pretty “generous” to players. That type of stuff doesn’t keep me going unless I just love the IP. Though I will say as far as “competitive” shit that isn’t fgs, I’m not playing any fps right now so Uncharted 3 would fit that bill for me. We’ll see. And I’m still copping A4O when the price drops. Just because it’s Ratchet, and the user reviews and feedback is extremely mixed to where you’d think some people are playing the wrong game.
P.S. You need to do PS2 streams sometimes. I don’t even watch too many streams, but I’ll tune in to watch your slaw ass get broke off in Shinobi, Contra: Shattered Soldier, or even OG Ratchet&Clank, etc.
