I remember playing it for a good 5 months at my arcade.
I wish I was joking ;_;
GTFO out of this thread Pozer. I haven’t played XIII but it cannot disappoint me like what passes at Capcom for FGs now. Even if it comes with shitty netcode. Soon… the final trinity assembly shall begin. First KOF XIII, then VF5 FS, and then finally Tag 2. I need no more FGs. Unless ASW does a beast Guilty Gear sequel.
I’m pissed that I saw that there was a guy with a hat in Uncharted 3. I’m really pissed at E3 spoiling stuff.
An insanely technical fighter developed in the current gaming environment?
Stay out of my mind!!! Seriously though, I won’t need shit else after TTT2. Because by the time we get out hands on it, I’ll be too old to compete and travel to tournaments. So here’s hoping that KOF XIII doesn’t get any more pushbacks(I played the game, it’s solid), and hopefully that we don’t make Japan mad in anyway. Or that console VF5FS will be held hostage for years to come. Creator of GG already said that he felt GG was “too difficult” so no doubt ASW would make new GG “easy and accessible” like BB and current fgs. I couldn’t handle if they soiled that game with noob potion. So no, GG needs to rest in peace. Unless they do a GGXXAC HD Remix that brings the old scene back around again and maybe snags a few of the newer players before they quit in the middle of learning it. They won’t understand why there’s no reward for getting your ass kicked.
Yes, I do fear with the current trend that happening in gaming now that Guilty Gear will sacrifice quality for ease of access. What’s with these developers and not realizing the flaw of their game is that is lacks a teaching tool? That’s the problem. Shitty players that don’t know how to play. I mean SFIV produced what with ease of access? SCRUBS. MVC3? SCRUBS. And better players are still beating their ass. Devs need to pull a VF4 Evo and do a robust tutorial with matches from high level players. I’ve never heard of anyone who enjoyed a game more when they didn’t know how to play. That’s how you make the game more accessible.
I’ve never been so letdown when it comes to enjoying a FG I was hyped about until this generation.
Who do you think their target audience is, though?
Hint: it starts with $$$$, and ends with $$$$. You’re speaking of the few, the proud, the ¢.
Oh I’m aware.
“Cash rules everything around us. Greed. Get the money. Dolla dolla bil y’all.”
Except its not insanely technical. It’s insanely gimmicky. But not insanely technical.
And don’t get your panties in a bunch. I’m excited for the game as much as the next person. But I’m not going to make it more than it is.
another weeaboo fighter, yay
tekken.
this is just ignorance.
A friend brought over Arkham City so I could try it out and man I wish I had the money to pick it up. Game was awesome from what I played and Penguin’s design is sick!
didnt know people still use that word.
Honestly, it’s the best interpretation of Penguin ever. He’s a serious threat, hard core, and doesn’t fuck around. Penguins always a joke to me but not here. Here’s dudes a gritty dirty nasty mob boss. It’s fuckin awesome.
I don’t know about combat in arkham. It is fun, and simple-- but most fights end up with batman just flipping across long stretches because all the guys get knocked too far away by attacks after the tenth or so hit, and I wind up dropping combos because of whiffed attacks on grounded enemies.
Also, it is hilarious playing this after Dark Souls.
3 guys in combat in Dark Souls and I’m fucked.
In this, it isn’t even worth stopping for.
So I’m going by toys r us tomorrow after work to pick up my copy of Arkham and they have their buy 2 get 1 for free sale.
Any ideas what I should pick up?
And don’t say Dark Souls. I have no intentions of getting that game. Ever.
Ratchet and Clank A4O?
Perhaps… It’s on my “to buy” list. I was thinking Spider-Man Edge of Time but from what little I’ve read and how much my friends have talked about the game–it doesn’t seem worth getting.
