The Official PLAYSTATION® Thread: E3 - PS4 Pro November 10th $399

itll get released

Try Sengoku Basura X in 1080p.

I didn’t like that game for some reason.

Nagamasa-sama x infinity.

I messed up and bought a 40 inch sony led internet tv, tv is cool/nice but not for gaming cause it lags :frowning:

I hope you got a great deal, aren’t those things clearanced out now? I was going to get one when they first came out for my room, but the price was high to that quality of HDTV and sites started to block their content from it.

Got it for $800, its $730 on amazon used… idk if they are clearanced out

No kind of “game” settings to help minimalize lag? Most TVs nowadays have that.

Yeah, the 40" was $1,000 at launch and is now $800, but yeah they lag like crazy on PS3 I read.
24" one was $600, now it is $300 but that one doesn’t use as good of a LCD panel, but it’s a great price now.

How is the internet on it?
I’m still waiting for the PS3 3-D TV this December, $500.

I have a Sony 46" 46EX400 that I got off of my friend for $300 and a phone. Came with a $200 glass TV stand, I just CAN’T be mad at that.

So uh, where did your friend steal that shit from?

Didn’t steal it. In short, he’s a single father with 2 kids. He SPLURGES like crazy during tax season, then sells all his shit when he starts hurting for money towards the end of the year. Does it every year, pretty much. I was gonna buy a low-end HDTV from Target, but he just happened to be selling his around Black Friday last year–I couldn’t turn that offer down.

Damn, that’s a nice deal. I ended up selling my 47" Olevia to a friend for $425 when I moved back to the west coast couple months back, and I loved that thing for gaming. Cost me $1200 back in the day (07 Black Friday I think), but that was before TV prices took a big hit.

SWBeta, how’s D4 going for you?

Broke the 100 hour mark last night, and I’m only on Chapter 5

I’ve pretty much been grinding and powerleveling ever since I got the game. It’s crack. CRACK, I tell you! I actually stopped leveling the non-main characters and focused only on the mains. Got each one pretty high up, then reincarnated, and doing it all over again. Seeing a level 1 with the stats of a level 100 is pretty gdlk. Once I get my characters ridiculously powerful, I’ll use them to help the non-main characters get up to speed, which should be super fast. The long haul is getting the 6 mains to that gdlk echelon. Then after all that, I’ve gotta max out the level of my stores so they can sell me the best equipment money can buy, which I’ll have to level up as well. Hyped :nunchuck:

Storyline so far is lulz, but in a good way. Best cast since the original Disgaea. Lots of random shit happening all the time and it’s pretty funny. They’re super attacks are fucking RIDICULOUS this time around. Like, on some DBZ or Gurren Lagann level shit. Big explosions, attacks that encompass space (maybe even time), gdlk wmds, everything. Insanity x infinity. If you haven’t played it yet, you’re missing out. Big time. D4 is RPG of the year for me, hands down. Don’t even care for Dark Souls.

You’re just saying that so you don’t OD =V

Not that I know of, I went through trying to find something…ill look it up online.

To be honest I havent actually tried to use the internet just loaded up chrome to the main page cause my mom wanted to see what it looked like, seems legit. Ill have more feedback when I actually use the browser.

This is a pretty good decision, IMO. F2P did wonders for games like D&D Online etc.

I think a lot of people are going to try the game and get hooked. It’s actually pretty fun for a while. Even if they only get $10 out of each of those people for some vanity capes n shit, that’s still $10 more than they would have gotten because those people wouldn’t pay to play a game.

heh was gonna come and post that. How much install does the game need/take though?

I played it a bit on release but lost interest. For me Champions Online is the superhero MMO. The only one I could make the hero I wanted exactly.

Played COH/V hardcore for years, but lost interest after I did everything there was several times.

Champions Online…are they done with the crazy overbuffs/nerfs now? I played it back when it was new, but the insane nerfs to my Ice-themed character combined with the inability to support my new (at the time) 5770 graphics card caused me to drop the game. It definitely had the best character creation by far, though.

Question:
I love InFamous now…

Other sandbox games that I know of:
Assassin’s Creed - I have the second, and haven’t played it much - I will once I finish InFamous.
GTA - I hate everything GTA.

I love the idea of the sandbox game though.
Any other suggestions?
