I think he’s playing WKC2 which based on what Spootey Whiteboy posted is a better improvement over the first game.
They wont mess with the HDD or data or anything it’s safe to leave it in there if you want.
No man, he was playing the first one, 2nd one wasn’t out yet. I even messaged him about it. He was playing it every time I was on and checked my list for about 2 months straight no lie.
I got 6 trophies in the first hour for that Elemental Monster Card Game. It is like Pokemon, where their are 3 main types Earth, Water, Fire. Each one has a weakness to one other. I got the basic hang of it, but still don’t know about the Gems and why sometimes I gain a certain amount of Mana and the CPU gains way more.
I didn’t lose yet, I think I’m 9-0 in the single player game and will ride it out for $1.

Just need to understand some of the concepts though, since I still don’t know how Flipping works lol.

Flipping works like this: When you build your “deck,” you attach a card to the bottom of one of your main 3 cards. Then, when that main card dies, the second card replaces it.

yeah i got the ps2 since launch. i even still have the original blue ps2 box. i’ve been playing and collecting ps2 games since and still do today. wow, so that’s 10 years now. i like the 60gb ps3 because it can upscale the ps2 games. the ps2 hooked directly to my hdtv looks like shit. currently i’m playing the shadow hearts trilogy. man i love my RPGs. ps2 will never die so its great having a ps3 as a link to the past. i’ve been lucky it’s still alive. knock on wood.
@Jubei- Have you considered getting a really strong pc or laptop? Playing PS2 games with an emu+certain graphics filters will make PS2 games look well…heavenly.

Pre-ordered a bunch of games today, sonic generations, REORC,FF13-2, and SFXT, forgot KOF13 but whatever…anywho why are gamestop employees so rude as fuck…when I ask to pre-order the games the clerk asks me if I have a gamestop card…I say no…then she says “you call yourself a gamer?” she didnt say it jokingly either she was serious as hell…I just say umm ok…then she proceeds to try a force the damn card on me…".you get this,this,etc." bitch did I ask you about the card? seriously you gamestop employees need to ask the customer if they want to hear more about the gamestop membership card before shitting out info no-one asked for…she then says “its weird, why dont you want the card you can get discounts…etc” I simply tell her “because I dont come here often” she then gets silent and proceeds to ring me up…dumb cunt…

Picked up Dead Island yesterday and while I don’t see it as something I’d play much myself it’s been a laugh playing with a couple of friends.
It’s more like a guilt trip high pressure sales tactic. They honestly don’t care that you don’t want it, but they get graded on selling the shit. Salesmen, I feel sorry for them sometimes, but I’m educated on shit I want to buy. I don’t get sold shit, I buy it. I had a 5 minute conversation with this Direct TV guy in Bestbuy the other day when I was buying my PS3 headphones. He asked me all kinds of shit about my cable provider, cost, package and all kinds of shit. I told him at least **10 **times “I’m not interested”.
Most of the time when I go in these places I keep my ear phones in, so I don’t get bothered.
Last thing I bought at Gamestop was Infamous 2 LE for the messenger bag, before that was Assassin’s Creed 2.
i think i’m close to my second platinum lol. i just need to beat infamous on evil and hard. halfway through the game.
when it comes to trophies especially when i have to replay a game i already beat or the the ones that makes you grind i get lazy and move on the next game.
I’m the same way. I go to get the rest of the trophies/Achievements I need but I get bored and end up playing something else.

It’s lame I know but you want to know how you can tell Gamestop that you don’t appreciate it? There’s a survey at the bottom of every receipt. =D Use it. I don’t like trying to cram the card down people’s throats especially when they don’t really come to GS that often but it’s something that the company is breathing down everyone’s neck about. Even if I actually do think the card is worth it since you can get free stuff with it (I got Gears of War Cog tags from the website with the points that I’m constantly wearing now) I try not to badger the customer.
In all seriousness though if people have problems with some of GS’s methods then use the survey at the bottom of the receipt…trust me…They read those comments and they make sure to let recipients of those comments know what was said.
My cousin gave me his dead laser PS3, so now I have one for my room. It is the worst model though, 40GB 2 USB but it will get the job done.
I might not even get the laser fixed, just use it for Netflix and PSN games which I have plenty.
I will probably upgrade that pathetic HDD though.
He had it in his closet collecting dust and didn’t want to get it fixed since he doesn’t have time or the urge to play games.
