Waiting on my you know what cd in the mail! I feel good whodies. I went to my moms house and saw that she never threw away my box of PS2 games from high school. I even found my DDR imports I was such a fucking geek in HS. Fuck a re-release on playstation network…WE IN THERE!
You guys can get the Back to the Future episode 1 for free as well as Blue Toad Murder Files episode 1. Free trophies, YEAH!
BttF have some frame rate issues and the volume for the voices is VERY LOW, hopefully Telltales’ future games don’t suffer from this when brought to PSN.

JRPG fans should check out Costume Quest. It’s very short but if you’re a fan of JRPGs you may like it.
Costume Quest reminded me very much of the Penny Arcade games as well, which were fantastic. If you like CQ, and skipped the PA games, give them a shot. They’ve probably got to be cheap now, too.
Ah I’ve been wanting to try out the Penny Arcade games on PSN, but forgot to ask feedback about them. IIRC, there are 2 ‘episodes’ on PSN correct?
Yeah, and there was supposed to be a 3rd in the series, which people assumed to be dead. There was just some recent news about it confirming that it was still planned for development, though.
It’s a pretty fun series. I had a good time. They had some fun challenges in-game as well (killing with a summon, win using only counters, some others)

Quick question, does anyone here know if I can use an American Playstation card to purchase games on a Hong Kong account?
So after buying a PS3 recently due to the pricedrop, I managed to finish MGS4 and God of War III. MGS4 wasn’t so much a great game as it was a great conclusion to the series. God of War III was a generally satisfying until the long, mandatory, ill-matched story was shoehorned into the last hour or so of the game.
Thus far, I’m not feeling that mindblown with the PS3 and its games as I was with the PS2. Or maybe it’s because I’m getting old or jaded. I’m going to tackle FF13 next, so I’m ready to be horribly disappointed. I’ve heard way too much negativity about the game to get my hopes up.

Idunno about you, but I haven’t seen anything on ps2 that looked as clean and sharp as my favorite Dreamcast games (sc dc and sc2 Gamecube had better graphics than ps2’s crappy faded, jaggy visuals…I picked up DOA2 Hardcore mainly cuz I wanted dem stages and c’s Limited Edition outfits…graphics looked like shit), so the ps2 visually underwhelmed me. I just got one because of the massive amount of good companies putting out games for it in lieu of that ugly-ass x-box. As for the ps3, man, I feel like I’m stepping into new worlds, even on something as cutesy as Little Big Planet. Branch out, play some types of games you usually never do. With the ps3, I’m finding I like more genres than I knew I did, probably because everything seems more immersive. Oh…and it would probably help if you had some sort of high-def display rather than a regular tv. Those things kill the beauty programmers intended for you to see.
Just finished Costume Quest and got all of the trophies. Will play the DLC later tonight~
