Its early but I might have to take back what I said about Barnes being a bad contract.
Sadly very simple Geo, Barnes is the only one who can create a shoot right now. Before JJ was getting injured he had some creation going most games, but in the end he is to small and did not collapse defenses consistently to help guys get good shots. Also his stutter step dribble into the middle was much easier to defend without Dirk around.
I hope when DWill and Dirk are healthy they will be able to create some better shots.
Also if you noticed, Mavs defense is getting a lot worse in the second half of most games so far.
