Being a Habs fan, I’m anxious. Bob Gainey will either prove himself to be a genius, or insane. IMO, letting Kovalev go was a mistake. I agree the team needed an overhaul, but I’m not entirely convinced this roster is going to work. Also, I hope Carey Price gets his act together, I think he definately has the skill and talent, he’s just been to distracted off ice, and it got him in trouble.

For me, part of it is that I live just outside of DC, and I’m sick to death of hearing his name and everyone riding his cock. He’s the only player anyone in this godforsaken hellhole talks about. I especially despise the Caps. I used to be able to get tickets dirt cheap to watch them play the Habs, but the fearweather fans are coming out in droves now that the team is doing ok, and that asshole’s face is figuratively plastered everywhere.
Plus, I find him to be a pompous arrogant bastard.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s a great player, but I loathe his attitude and lack of respect for others.
