Yea we did just trade Craig Weller (who sucks), a 4th rounder I believe and one of our top young prospects to Boston for Chuck Kobesew (sp?). I don’t know if I like this because I heard that the prospect we got rid of was pretty good. supposedly, I have never seen him…
My opinion of Kobesew is basically he is a clutterbuck that can score a few more goals. It seems like over the years we have just been acquiring third liners.
Koivu is our best bet to get the team going and he was just given the “C” for the year hopefully he can step up and get Sheppard and Pouliot on track. Though I think Sheppard has looked better since Lemaire’s leash was removed so to speak.
Anyway news jersey’s revealed tonight! I think they should wear black breezers though to break up the green a little.
