Lord knows that Cowboys defense needs all the help it can get right now. That wouldn’t be all that crazy of a Jerry move, really. His defense is in shambles, he just needs to stockpile able bodies right now.

Champ’s been in decline for a while now, my man. It’d be a good pickup for a team that wants him to mentor young corners on how to be a real pro, but his days as a shutdown corner are done.
And I know Jerry would do it for the publicity, I’m just saying it’d ACTUALLY be a sound football move for once. Maybe bring some awareness and grudging acceptance to an incredibly conservative state, too.
St. Louis is STACKED on the D-Line. Honestly I have no clue why they even drafted him though due to that. If leading the team in sacks wasn’t going to be enough to edge out one of the other guys then absolutely nothing would’ve. Which is fine, but they wasted a draft pick on someone they were inevitably going to release.
Anyway, a team will pick him up because he’s played pretty damn solid. Definitely a good rotation DE, and he may even blossom into starting caliber. And if the Boys pick him up, while it would be the inevitable ESPN blow up, it’d actually be a smart play. LORD knows they need more defensive help and Sam can actually provide well.
Yeah, Cowboys needs help on the D line. Romo might actually be a value pick in fantasy since he’ll likely be throwing his ass off to keep them in the games.

yea, the rams was the wrong team for him to go to, rams D-line is stacked from starters to depth, sam was just a casuality of numbers. he should easily get picked up by another team.
