So I just watched the Seahawks Packers game. Holy shit the Packers threw this game away settling for field goals. Their offense got so damn conservative with 5 minutes left. Just running it to kill clock. And why the hell did Burnett dive on the ground after he had the interception. LOL so stupid
McCarthy is actually not so good of a coach imo. He has probably the best QB in the league, and he usually gimps him.
Problem is it’s hard to find a good coach. So unless the Packers implode, which is unlikely since Based Rodgers will always carry them to something decent, McCarthy is going nowhere.

Diving was the correct play, it was more likely that he fumbled the ball giving the seahawks the ball than what happened (3 and out, Td, onside kick, TD).
I hope people remember a Chargers - Patriots playoff game around ¿2005-2006? :
The chargers had the #1 seed and Tomlinson was the beast of that time , Brady throws a late 4th quarter pick to a Linebacker who runs the ball back instead of taking the knee which virtually ended the game. He fumbles , patriots recover (by rule that’s a 1st down) they score and win the game.
Off season the chargers fire coach Marty (forgot the last name) and they went downhill from there. Since I hate the Patriots so much I’ll never forget that.

and really mike mccarthys “conservative play” was working and it was going to work for the last 5 minutes or so. the field goals where alright he made concessions at the red zone but still got points and they were winning WITH 5 MINUTES LEFT.

secure the football and they failed to do that in both phases at the end whether its haha dix knocking down the ball on that hail mary 2 pt conversion. or that onside kick which they failed to clean up because the blocker didnt do his job and tried to make a play on the ball.
those fuckups lay the game at their doorstep
and people see the least of special teams during the game but that phase has the potential for the most explosive plays
you saw that with the fake punt and the onside kick and the punter for green bay giving seattle good field position at the end of the game
that onside kick was messup was egregious
but on the other end good job to russell and the seahawks for never giving up and eventually seizing the moment when they saw it.
