Nah, they ain’t going to SF. SF can’t be Forever Alex Smith if that happens.
Wow, the Skins did exactly what I wanted them to do. Try to get another 2nd rounder and grab someone opposite to Orakpo. Who would have thought they would come through with both. Now will they grab a center or some WRs? 2nd round seems good for either or so maybe things will turn out well?
Having the draft prior to free agency is a good way to keep Snyder in check
tapalols I post phone
The comparisons are strong read below…
Dude are you high??
Cam Newton doesn’t know football, let alone NFL Football he could barely remember Auburn Number/Play calls.
His character is wishy/washy, he’s one of those guys that you say “Hey man you should do this” and in order to fit in he will do it, he’s a softie.
You have your information WRONG about the Laptop issue, they said it all this week and just before the draft… “He got caught with the laptop” he then left Florida, a system that def would have taught him patience, how to throw, read defenses etc.
In no way shape form will Cam Newton out do Mc-5, people shit on him but he went from what everyone thought was an all around runner, to a pocket passer/scrambler.
He made shit happen behind that o-line when it was solid and made even more happen when it went to shit, especially when for years he only had one offensive consistent weapon in B.Westbrook, a year in a half with T.O. that shot his numbers into MVP talks with the likes of Tom Brady,Ben Roth and Peyton Manning.
M.Vick coming out of college blows this kid out the water as well.
Cam Newton has so many flaws in his game and when a player has that many negatives over positives, going to a currently bad team doesn’t help them grow unless they have those characteristics that set them apart.
Sam Bradford
M.Vick
T. Tebow (has character, has the will, don’t think he’ll be an MVP or Steve Young but he will be a leader and factor)
Matthew Stafford (His flaw, injuries,he beats the plague he has serious upside)
Matt Cassel (Now a Pro-Bowler)
Great day one for the Colts in the draft. Got the Left Tackle of the future, can move Johnson to Left Guard where he’s a more natural fit… Costanzo… I never dreamed he’d be available at 22… oh happy day in Indianapolis.
lol, all i have to say is good luck to the panthers, i dont think cam newton will pan out there…
The ATL pick was interesting as it added some excitement to that Cam-athon. Every single minute of the pre-draft and draft was devoted to Cam it seemed. Anyway, I think ATL needed to upgrade their defense first; WR value rarely is found in the first round, let alone top 10. ATL’s running attack, Ryan’s efficient short throws, and their insanely good Special Teams carried them for most of their season, but then they got exposed by the Packers in the playoffs as to how terrible their defense is. Meh.
I said the CHEATING thing was proven false. He got that laptop.
And knowing NFL plays is essential to play in the league! Just look at pro bowlers like Jimmy Clausen and Troy Smith. Both products of pro style offenses.
I dunno where the Mcnabb stuff came from I was talking about Jamarcus Russel. But really, was Mcnabb this great pocket passer coming out of Syracuse?
Att Comp Yrds PcT.
185 280 2854 66.1 30Tds 7Int
157 251 2134 62.5 22Tds 5int
Guess which statline was Mcnabb’s during his last year at Syracuse.
I guess coming out of college like that means Mcnabb isn’t shit now right? How about we wait for the guy to fail first?
Matt Cassell went from backing up Brady, for a couple years, to starting.
In more important news Jay Cutler and Kristin.
How that happen? Oh Bears fan. I hope you enjoy the wave of emotional high and lows with Kristin. She’s a crazy one. Fun, but crazy.
Not sure if the Vikings got their QB for the future. The Vikings for the last 20 or so years (probably longer than that) have used stop-gap QBs (besides Culpepper in 1999, which was good for a few years), they never really had a stable franchise QB like Green Bay, San Fran, New England has had. The Vikings also need help at DE (Ray Edwards might leave), DT (Pat Williams is gone, Kevin Williams will be suspended the first 4 games of the season and slowed down last season), their whole secondary (Winfield is great, but is getting older and might be moved to safety, Cedric Griffin just can’t stay healthy and should probably move to safety, and they really need some CBs that can actually cover someone).
On the offensive side, their offensive line needs major help. If Bryant McKinnie can get his act together and play like he should, they might not need a LT right now, but McKinnie is 32. They really need a new Center, and guards, and who knows how much Phil Loadholt will improve. They really need a WR who can play opposite of Sidney Rice (or replace him if he leaves), which would place Percy Harvin in the slot (which is where he excels best). They might think about picking up a TE as well (Shiancoe and Kleinsasser are both 30+, Shiancoe can catch but can’t block, Kleinsasser is mostly a blocking TE).
The Vikings are in rebuilding mode.
As for the NFC North 1st round picks, I thought Detroit should go after a CB, or an OT (to protect Stafford), but getting a DT not only makes their run defense even better (this might be the next Williams wall for the next 10+ years, teams won’t be able to run on them), but also makes their pass defense better (Detroit’s secondary wasn’t nearly as bad as it could have been due to the Lions defensive line being so good. They are going to have a field day with average centers and guards, getting pressure up the middle is too good. Chicago drafting an OT to protect Cutler was an obvious choice, and Green Bay getting an OT was probably used for depth. The NFC North is going to be very brutal in the near future.
ESPN said the Vikings were eying Jake Locker, but the Titans said “No you can NOT!”
Oh boy poor Vikings though. That team look so done it’s not even funny.
Kristin going to lead the Bears to NFC North champions.
Packers I know you’re the defending SB champ, but this is crazy Kirstin we talking about. Jay Cutler is going to be throwing FIYA next season.
So what Matt Cassell backed up Tom Brady, Kansas City doesn’t run an offensive style anywhere near the patriots, the Chiefs so so WR Core yet he still posts numbers and had he not got±ten injured, many felt the Chiefs would have at least gotten out of the 1st round.
NO ONE IN PHILLY WANTED Mc-5!!!
You posting those stats mean JACK SHIT to my overall point, Mc-5 stood behind a GREAT O-LINE for years in order to develop, he was more then a scrammbler despite the monicre placed upon him by critics and haters alike, Cam is nothing but an overrated passer and semi-great runner.
My reason for even throwing Mc-5’s name into the conversation is because…that’s who all the black mobile quarterbacks get compared too when they come.
Mobile QB’s in general get compared to the likes of Steve Young etc.
The cheating was proven false…BUT he STOLE someones laptop… so that just makes his character all the more better huh???
Then the play to play shit that he claims he didn’t know about… Cam Newton is also far from articulate, that boy hasn’t learned jack in college nor high school and you can tell when he speaks.
Cam NEwton has only played ONE SEASON OF FOOTBALL Bra!!!
How high can your expectations be for this kid who has shown his skills are way to limited to be a factor RIGHT NOW or in the next 3 years (The window most organizations give for franchise QB’s too bloom)
In Donovan’s last year as a College QB he completed 62% of his Passes Cam Newton 66% woooooow whoopty do.
Mc-5 threw 5 INT’s Cam threw 7… do I really need to continue on???
Plus Cam is going to the Panthers…who now have no defense, shotty o-line, only one go too receiver, too many flaws PERIOD!!!
Straight into the arms of Green Bay defensive backs, just like he always does.
Seriously though, The Lions seem to be just stockpiling defensive studs to curbstomp opposing QBs. They seem like the most legit threat to the Packers in the NFC North. Bears were graced by God with their good fortune last season, I don’t see a repeat of that this season. Vikings aren’t competing for anything except to see how many lulz they can get.
Cam Newton will be a bust. Locker is the best QB in this draft. Ckrazy is dumb as fuck.
All of these are a lock.
Ship it.
Hugh Mad.
Joke’s on all of you. Ponder will suck enough to get benched after week 4, and Tavaris will lead them to 12 straight wins on their way to the Super Bowl title.
Vikings put all their eggs in last season’s basket, the basket got crushed horribly, and now they’re going to slowly starve to death over the next decade barring some miraculous event. Glorious.
I’d love for the Cowboys to take Aaron Williams if he’s still there, but word is that Ryan likes Beavis and Butthead.
Edit: Damn it.
I posted the mcnabb stats to show he was very much comparable to mcnabb becaause you made it seem like cam wasn’t a good passer. Let’s not forget he puts those number up in the sec coming from a juco. The same sec that is touted as a direct pipeline to the NFL for defensive players. Fuck the big east.
I can get over the laptop thing because he was 18. Sounds like you think he should be banned from the league for a stupid mistake.
The panther oline was banged up last year dude. Did you forget we had 2 thousand yard rushes the season before last? I know bucs fans remember.
If Jake hadn’t had the mother of all meltdowns we would have been in the superbowl.

Damn, Fuck the bills!
These teams are drafting horribly today.
Ravens are gonna have a treasure chest of players available at 58.
