I like that. I wish Seahawks player would show emotion like that.
cept they don’t really deserved to be in the playoffs…playing like ass all season. At least the Jets HAS a reason to be hyped after all that down-talking they’ve received.
Son I’m talking about emotion, fucking pride in the game.
Doesn’t matter how they make it I just wanted them to show they care. I guess if you were to put it in a street fighter example Seahawks are that guy that losses and is super excited just cause he got out of the 1st round.
I rather have a team that fucking cares. Niggas be dropping passes and smiling and shit. Act like you care at least. I don’t care if you have to pull a KG and start talking to a fucking basket, pole, ground, yourself do something. Shit get your fucking head in the game.
OK then I get your point now.
Seriously…did you watch hasselback’s intervew? Jesus christ dude seemed like he didn’t care:
“it was fun!”
I know I am a bit late, but christ what did I miss. I got to watch the first half of the pats game then went to work. Fucking pats man…I heard there were alot of drop balls and such. FUCK I am hella salty, fucking crumpler should have caught that ball. I guess peter king’s choices are looking like reality. He picked Pittsburgh vs Green Bay.
The amount of salt that NE must be eating right now is rediculous. To let NYJ talk a ton of shit before the game, dominate during the game, then talk even more shit after the game… mad salty.
I always thought Sanchez was just an average QB but I think he might be Bigben-light.
Even though he has alot of bad games he seems to be very good in the clutch.
Next game will be quite interesting.
I like Simmons a lot but I am not prepared for whatever whiny diatribe he is going to go on if they do a bs report today
Sanchez in the playoffs is like an entirely different player than in the regular season.
Regular season:
Cmp% - 54.4
Ypa - 6.58
TD:INT - 29:33
Rating - 70.2
Playoffs:
Cmp% - 60.5
Ypa - 7.44
TD:INT - 7:3
Rating - 92.2
Basically, he’s a game manager during the regular season riding off the coattails of a strong defense and running game, but once he hits the post-season, he makes the Jets very dangerous and gives them a legit passing attack.
the moral of this years playoffs is:
FUCK YOUR REGULAR SEASON RECORD!
Damn.
Wish players were more like that , not " its was a good team efforrt blah blah " same ol shit.
…
Jets vs Pitts - If the Steelers make the SB im not watching it , I find them boring to watch. So give me the Jets to top the Steelers just so I can hear Rex Ryan say its personal between him and who ever the QB/Coach in the SB is, well if its the Packers then I guess it would kinda be wouldnt it, hell it will be entertaining to hear him this week blabbing off how he already beat Manning/Brady now with Rapelessberger its persona , I think hes gotten worse since hes lost weight , someone needs to feed that guy some hostess to shut his ass up . - Taken the JETS
Packers vs Bears - People need not forget the Bears are forking out lots of bread this year , their like the Yankees of the NFL this year. I dont really like any of the teams so ill take the underdog home team Bears who might show money can buy a championship. Plus If the Packers win it all I really find their colors annoying and to having to see them all over the place from the Bangwagon jumpers will get old fast. Plus Cutler will be a fun person to watch for 2 weeks be all happy go lucky then lose and watch him cry like the little bitch mamas boy he is - Bears
And If I really have to pick a SB winner id say teh Steelers , but lets hope im retarded and wrong .
This goes to show you that teams like the Falcons/Saints/Bucs/Cheifs with their easy schedules really arent as good as they came off. I told everyone the Falcons were 1 and done kinda team, too much hype from such a easy schedule, but on a side not I hope Gonzalez isnt done with his career and can recover from whatever injury he got, he really deserves to just win 1 playoff game.
It was the Jet’s defense, running game, and mistakes and uncharacteristic play by the Patriots that won the game last night. I’ll give credit where it’s due, he didn’t make any mistakes, but that’s about it. He’s certainly not on Big Ben’s level. Let’s see him win a game in which he takes six sacks.
That running game and defense took pressure off of Sanchez. He really didn’t have to take the team on the shoulders and throw the ball too much, and he still hasn’t proven that he can do that yet.
The Steelers are going to be a totally different beast. Troy Polamalu and Heath Miller didn’t play in the first game, and you can’t count on them giving up a touchdown on the opening kickoff again(and even then, the game went down to the last play). It’s going to be far more difficult to run the ball against Pittsburgh, and their offense has been playing much better as of late(they just put up 31 points on the Ravens). There’s also the fact that Roethlisberger is much more difficult to rattle than Brady or Manning, and is much better at escaping the pass rush. Even if he is sacked, it doesn’t bother him(just look at the beatings he’s taken and still managed to win). Sanchez is going to have to do more throwing in this game, and that’s going to expose him to Dick Lebeau sorcery.
I’m wearing my Seahawks NFC West Champions 2010 shirt today. Hopefully the Hawks play well tonight.
I look forward to a couple years from now when receivers remember how to play against “physical” corners. I hate the refs who don’t call that, but I hate receivers who can’t play through it more. Watch soccer sometime: the guys who can’t play through that kind of crap just don’t make it. =P
Yuuuuup! Fuck a playoff seed restructuring.
Ummm…WHAAAAAA?
What? They sure as hell didn’t play this weekend.
Yea the playoff’s are fine the way they are. No need to restructure shit! The teams that are suppose to win in the playoff’s usually do. Everyone and their mommy was pretty much HANDING the pats the superbowl, but that’s why they play the games. If it was a 7 game series like basketball or baseball would you get the same outcome? Prolly not, but so fucking what. The nfl has the best playoff system in professional sports imo. Any team can play the game of their life and win 1 game, but the team that can string multiple games together are the teams that win the superbowl. No 1 can properly predict who is going to win with both #1 seeds losing at home in the playoff’s. Despite your love or hate of any team the regular season don’t mean shit during the playoff’s. So the falcons had an easy season? You play the games that are given to you. EVERY TEAM IS FLAWED! Can anyone sit here and say that there’s a flawless team in the nfl?
Don’t bring up stats because stats sometimes lie. The chargers had the #1 offense and #1 defense in the NFL this year and they didn’t make it to the playoff’s. All but 3 (Saints, Eagles, and Pitt) of the falcons hard games of the season were at home. They enjoyed home cooking during the regular season, but couldn’t step up in the playoff’s and got blown out by a team they beat in the regular season. IMO the playoff’s are about WHO WANTS IT MORE and who rise above the rest of the teams! Every year a division gets to play against NFC west. We can’t help that it was our turn to feast on the weak.
The Falcons need to fit that weak ass pass rush because you could have had deion back there and it wouldn’t made any difference if you can’t put pressure on the qb. 29-32 for 360+ yards on the road by Arron Rogers shows what my team weakness is imo. Greenbay can’t run and that might bite them in the ass if it’s a windy snowy day in chi town. It should be a great game. In the AFC pitt vs jets might end up 9-6 victory!
I can’t really root for anyone since my team is gone, but seeing lovey Smith get a ring after trying to run him out of town every damn year. Also seeing Arron rogers shit on the shadow of brett favre would be nice with his own SB win+mvp. Even though he whooped our ass I can’t do nothing but respect him. That was an all time proformance for a QB in the playoff’s. I think this is the 1st time in nfl history that both #6 and #2 seeds made it to the AFC and NFC championship games at the same time.
To have them play as well as they did against the Saints two weeks in a row is a lot to ask out of the Seahawks. I’d say just be happy you got a Sunday night game, made the playoffs, had one of the greatest runs of NFL postseason history, and knocked out the defending Super Bowl champions.
I’m quite alright with it. Of course, every fan wishes a Super Bowl. But to get this far with the group that we had, during a REBUILDING YEAR? I’ll take it! And like I said earlier, getting to the Wild Card game and then putting up 41 against the Saints? That’s enough of a middle finger to the “BOOO OUR TEAM DIDN’T GET IN AND WE WERE BETTER” teams who thought the Seatrolls didn’t deserve a playoff spot.
