The OFFICIAL NFL 2010-11 Thread (including SRK Fantasy League)

of course.

the hawks are going to be invincible!

GO SEAHAWKS. Go other birds I guess :(.

Hey Seafarts fans.

Note to all you guys:

‘’

Spoiler

Fuck you

Imagine Baltimore making the superbowl, and Seattle making the NFC Championship game in the NFC with the Packers winning the Super Bowl.

It would be

Packers > Philly (Bird)
Packers > Falcons (Bird)
Packers > Seahawks (Bird)
Packers > Ravens (Bird)

They could rename themselves the Bird killers!

Too bad Baltimore had to fuck everything up… Oh well let see if Seattle can make it so the Packers can get three straight weeks of Birds.

Don’t hold ya breath, the only robbery that’s gonna happen is the Bears robbing the Seahawks chance of going to the NFCCG.

It’s either Aaron Rodgers is this GOOD or the Falcons secondary is THAT bad or BOTH! Well we got our butts kicked and kicked ourselves out of the playoffs AT home. No excuses.

I’ll probably throw up from having to hear the media tripping over themselves to talk about the NFC North re-match for the NFCCG all week.

Please, Seattle, win.

It’s Rodgers that’s good. Packers just got hit with stupid injuries, and dumb losses so they ended with the #6 seed when in reality they might of had #1 or #2 if they were healthy all year.

2/2 on my picks today. Picked the Steelers, but I thought the Ravens could win as long as they don’t make the mistakes that have plagued them in the past, and they pretty much did nearly everything to lose in the 2nd half. Ray Rice fumbling (and he never fumbles), Flacco throwing into double coverage leading to a pick, Boldin and Housh dropping easy passes (one of which could have possibly iced the game). Give credit to the Steelers defense for adapting, Ravens couldn’t get anything going at all, mostly through Steeler turnovers. Ray Lewis already has a ring, but for players that came a little later from the 2000 Super Bowl team like Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs, maybe one day they will get it, they are still relatively young, and can still contend.

I picked the Packers to win, but I thought it would be a close low-mid scoring game, only because I believed Atlanta would be able to control the clock. Once the Packers jumped on the Falcons, there wasn’t anyway they could do that. Rodgers played nearly perfect; other than John Abraham, whose getting up there in age, the Falcons lack a good pass rush, and their secondary got lit up all game. They’re definitely a good team, but I figure teams like Philadelphia, Green Bay, and New Orleans, who can score in bunches would give Atlanta huge problems.

Seahawks vs Jets SB. Most unlikely SB from where it stands.

Be cool if that happen well to me at least.

Been away from a computer all day until now, but watched both games on TV.

Ravens @ Steelers game… damn. I picked the Ravens to win and going into halftime, I thought they were going to, but the Steelers’ defense is insanely good. The clampdown they administered in the 3rd quarter was just a thing of beauty to watch. When they tied it at 21-21, I kinda suspected that the Ravens’ window had closed on them. Hats off to the Steelers, but I thought the Ravens had a better overall football team.

Packers @ Falcons. Like I said, the Falcons had everything working for them Week 12 and they barely squeaked by the Packers. Tonight, the Packers was the team firing on all cylinders and the Falcons got left in the dust. Rodgers is a TD machine and our defense is playing out of it’s mind right now. We’re like the '07 Giants, but with a much, much better team.

EDIT: Lol at the “GO PACK GO!” chants all throughout the 4th quarter. I know you’re down by 12312937129 TDs, but I saw a sea of empty red seats when the Fox cameras zoomed out at the beginning-mid-end of the 3rd quarter; really weak stuff from some fairweather Falcons fans.

ima just leave this here Adult Swim Video : Carl : Carl’s Lock: New York Jets vs. New England Patriots Playoffs

People forget that the Ravens are never a good 2nd half team and their defense during the second half is overrated. How many times did they get close to losing or barely beat opponents in the 2nd half after barely leading in the first?

LOL, same thing i said. I actually live in georgia and wished i couldve went to that game. them deats were empty by the 4th quarter, I CANT WAIT to go to work tommorow and rag on all these FALCON FANS!!! LMAO!!!

GO PACK GO!!!

honestly, i would rather play chicago than seattle…seattle seems fucking scary and just wild right now. atleast green bay knows what the bears have to offer.

Matt Ryan doesn’t impress me at all. For all this talk about Matty Ice and how he’s so cool under pressure, on the biggest stage of his career, he’s failed miserably. In his 2 playoff appearances, he’s lost both of them and he’s been a major factor in both those losses. He’s seems more of a glorified game manager than an elite QB able to single handedly take over a game.

And that’s what is working for the Freehawks right now. Nothing to lose going into the Saints game, nothing to lose going into the Bears game. If Seattle loses, well…they weren’t really meant to be there anyway. But if they win, the Bears would be losing to a 9-loss playoff team. The road to Arlington will go through Seattle. Not Chicago.

Also, @ Housh whining about the ball and then when he gets a pass WHEN IT MATTERS, he drops it.

Yet another coach the Packers have gotten fired: Philadelphia Eagles fire defensive coordinator Sean McDermott after just 2 seasons - NFL - SI.com

Housh just got himself a one-way ticket out of Baltimore with that drop.

When god created Aaron Rodgers, he used the Konami code. Only explanation for his sick playoff performance so far

The crazy thing is that most of our team is still young, with the most important pieces locked into long-term contracts.

EDIT: Sorta don’t want to play the Bears as they’ve played us really rough this season. Go Seahawks (team of destiny).
