Mike alstott seemed to be trucking dudes for at least 15 years lol!
He also missed Jones-Drew, Hester, and Dumervil.
I never understood how that 2 year rule never applied to fullbacks! They’re always leading up on DE’s, LB’s, sometimes even DT’s and N’s. they’re machines. Just complete masters of paving the way. Every once in a while they’ll get their one touch a game. Those guys are some serious team players.

Yeah but he was the full-time back at the time. With Ahmad taking the bigger load of carries Jacobs should be relatively fresh in games and be able to punch things through in short yardage situations. It should also help him avoid injuries. (hopefully)
^_-;
fullbacks are more like lineman and linebackers than halfbacks which is why they last forever in the league.
TOMORROW!!!
imo saints win in this rematch
That draft was so stupid. Yeah All 4 of the guys you two listed are also awesome, and again, I’d rather have them than Reggie.
I missed Owen Daniels too I think.
Somebody needs to just list all the top players and put them in one huge numbers post, and heck even rank them. Figure out where you’d stick Reggie. Right now it looks bad to me though, He’s what, the 30th talent at best?
yea dat nigga was the truth. too bad it seems like there arent that many big name Fullbacks anymore.
What kind of bullshit league are you in, where you’re allowed to have a top 5 player in every position.
Only people on that list that I would put money on being top 5 in points in most leagues at the end of the year are Johnson, and either Ocho or Fitz.
ochocinco is a glorified possession receiver, TO is def scooping all the big plays (and TDs) for cincy
Yeah, I agree. And even Fitz has nobody to throw it to him, so I wouldn’t expect him to be in the top 5 in points at the end at WR either.
obligatory panthers get no respect post version 2010.
i dont know, its Fitz, any retard can throw to him, how can u miss him? lol, hes a beast.
You must be drafting really shitty if you can’t draft a team like this. ADP for CJ is 1.01, Brady is 3.01, Ocho is 4.10, Fitz is 2.08, Finley is 4.07.
So you are telling me when you draft, you are incapable of grabbing a 1st rounder, a 2nd rounder, a 3rd rounder and 2 4th rounders? Also of course it snakes, so since he probably had 1st pick, it’s early 1, late 2, early 3, late 4, early 5. It bothers you that much a guy with essentially 2 late 4th rounders is getting…2 late 4th round picks?
Dude I seriously want to see your drafts. What do you do, draft 1 1st rounder and then immediately draft 6th round values?
As to the original request to critique: I don’t trust Fitz at all. I had the chance to take him as late as the 3rd round in one draft, but Jamaal Charles was there so I took him. Everyone in the draft room agreed, saying that’s how they would have drafted too, he went 2 picks later. I like drafting 2 RBs. I don’t really respect WRs all that much.
Plus I always hit on WR sleepers anyway. I got Brandon Marshall and DeSean Jackson in their rookie years. I got Sidney Rice and Miles Austin last year. This year I’m banking on late picks such as TO, Malcolm Floyd, Devin Aromashadou and…2 guys you might not have on your radar but are Serp’s super secret special WR sleepers this year: Laurent Robinson and Louis Murphy. I am also fairly high on Mohammed Massoquoi.
The danger with sleepers is they might not hit for you that year. I had Sidney Rice on my roster for 2 years, he didn’t blow up until about mid-way or so through the 2nd one, last year. I can not of course guarantee all those guys will blow up, but I bet you at least 2 will be pretty darn good and will at least perform like WR2s if not WR1s.
I also draft a bunch of RBs. I like LT and Jerome Harrison a whole bunch this year, Matt Forte is a decent pick too. But I try and get my top 2 backs earlier so I have the luxury of playing matchups and seeing if a guy hits. I don’t really care about the WR picks, in fact I will usually grab my TE before my WR2, the top TEs get around WR12 numbers, sometimes a bit higher, but usually they go after people for some reason grab their 2nd WR, who is usually around the 20s for scoring.
But you can always change your strats, I draft based on draft slot and BAP theory. I try to make sure I have the positions filled, but otherwise I won’t hesitate to grab a 3 RB if I think all the WRs there are about the same and I can get a similar one the next round. If I miss on the top TEs I’ll just grab one later, this year Cooley will be good and I bet that Rams guy, Hoomawaonamuna or whatever the hell his name is will beast.
I was going to put bets on this game but the odds went from 1.5 to 5.5
Probably not worth it now so I’ll put some money down on the over 48.5
Doesn’t matter who wins.
If the Saints win, their fans will scream that they’re the best team in the universe.
If the Vikings win, the Saints fans will scream about how they’re still Superbowl champs.
-shrug-
What matters more is that Taylor Swift is playing at the game. But I hope the Saints win, still love Breesus even though he left SD.
