a) Leinart was clearly more precise in the limited time he was given to prove himself, yet Anderson was given over three times more pass attempts in the preseason. You have an interesting definition of "given the job in preseason."
b) Leinart wasn’t a top 5 pick.
Most likely Leinart is gone because of his attitude moreso than his play.

I’m a Cardinals fan, and I hate Matt Leinart. That nigga is absolute trash, I don’t get how people think he’s good or has any potential. The worst is when people hype up these college players coming into the NFL, claiming that they’re going to revolutionize the game, and yet they end up not doing shit. Most of the time, it’s USC players too. Fuck Reggie Bush, he’s one of the biggest busts of all time, if not the biggest.
That honor still belongs to Jamarcus Russell unless we’re talking USC players exclusively.
