Started out with sf2 on SNES, which still works and I occasionally play =) Did mvc2 on dreamcast and arcades and now only stick to console since all the arcades around me are pretty much gone. Although I did just opened up my new hrap v3 sa sigh, brings back a lot of memories of wasting my quarters are the arcade

new here

Hi

My name is Garon… after talking to one of my old friends. I realized, we not I we both came to the conclusion, that of all the years our group has been playing video games, together, I have never beaten him at any fighting game. Not once, I may have won a round here or there, but never won the match,

So I set a goal to find out what is wrong with my game why I lose so often. Why I can pick up other games, and have good results, and just keep missing the mark in fighting games.

I have been lurking the forums, found exceptional stick makers, and great tutorials before I even asked a question. This site is Ideal in my question to hand out ass kicking like free food.

I would like to learn King of Fighters(Iori, King, Clark), I was getting some combos in for 2k and 2k1,

I would also like to learn to be a decent King, hworang, (i cant remember the third) for Tekken.

Last but not least Street Fighter 4, Akuma, Abel and I am not sure who the other will be.

The first names will be my mains, those are where most of my time will be dedicated, the other names will be me alternates.

I have already started practicing, If anyone has tips, or anything they want to pass on I am willing to learn.

Thank you for taking time to read this. You can PM anytime with any decent advice you want to pass on.

Hello, my name is Brad and I am from Los Angeles, CA. I can pretty much get into any fighting games and have been playing since SF2. I am currently playing SSF4 and my mains are Ibuki and Ken. I usually pick random if I’m in an endless lobby though. My gamertag on xbox live is blindswordsman4. Feel free to friend request or invite me for some matches. Looking forward to playing some of you!

Just a hello from a long time lurker.

Hey, what’s up?

I’ve played fighting games since a long time ago starting with the first Mortal Kombat. Since then I’ve tried a lot of fighting games but lately I play only on 360. You can check my LIVE profile from here to see what I play (mostly SSF4).

I main Abel and Juri but I’m relatively new to the game so I’m still poking around to explore more characters. I’m a casual player, I don’t go around studying frames and other characters’ data since I’m very busy with many things in life. This makes me kinda easy to defeat so maybe I’ll need dedicate time and learn more.

I’ve come to this forum to find out if there’s any european fighting games scene just to find out it’s quite scarce, or maybe even non-existent. I’d definitely wanna get together with some other EU playas, if any, 'cause it’s hard for me to hook up with the USA guys due to the time zone, lag, etc. I speak only english, btw.

Hey, I’m Roar and I figure here is the place to introduce myself.
I’m a 23 year old guy from Australia who’s recently begun playing fighting games ā€œseriouslyā€ - that is: not just button mashing.
I haven’t got a PS3 or an Xbox, but I do have Wii and PS2. I’m desperate to get an Xbox or PS3, though - seeing as I had the opportunity to play SSFVI at a local tournament recently.

I’ve got a cheap fightstick, it does the job for now. I’m trying to get my hands on MvC2 for PS2, but for now I’m just playing SVC: Chaos. It’s challenging compared to SF2!

Anyway, that’s me. Hope to expand my knowledge and have a bit of fun in the process.

Hello, didn’t seen that thread.
I’m a noob at vs gaming. From a country hated by most usfags.

Hey I’m Treble (general handle). My gamer tag for XBL is Trebinator T2, for PSN is Femarine.

I’m a 21 year old currently in Portland and I’m mainly into Super Street Fighter IV, used to be into Marvel vs Capcom 2, and going to be into Marvel vs Capcom 3. I’ve always been interested in fighting games since SFII came out for SNES, I dabbled in everything else till third strike and took a long hiatus until SSFIV came out.

I only recently got REALLY interested in SSFIV (I played a lot casually before) when I went to PAX Prime 2010 and miraculously beat Justin Wong for a 128GB HD from the Kingston booth, and then got shamelessly eliminated during the second set of matches in the PAX tourney. I guess it lit fire under me to get better. I’m always looking for other people to fight, so i’ve you’re interested add me or shoot me a message. I only have 2 friends that play, and they’re both super free. I want to make it to some of the local Tourneys here in Portland (aka Slugfest at Ground Kontrol)

Yo, I’m new to the whole Street fighter online thing. I never really new you could play professionally until recently. Anyway I’m trying to become a pro because its something that I’ve always wanted to do so I won’t take this lightly. I main Guy and just recently became a B after two weeks of online play. I’m always up for a teacher so I can learn new stuff. If you have any advice pm me. Thanks.

Hiya.

Hello. This is my first post. I’ve been play SSFIV for a few months and have started to get a little more competative and serious. Came across this site after a friend mentioned it to me and it’s been a lot of help. Hope to learn a lot and contribute a lot as well.
