I believe the Lakers have cap space for 2 max contracts
The Lakers need a damn head coach before offering another max contract. If we re-hire Mike Brown…

Says official who was part of meetings ESPN reported on: “There’s clearly a breakdown in communication between LeBron and (Wade and Bosh).”

Unless Pat Riley lines up talent appealing to James within cap structure soon, one LBJ suitor says: “LeBron seems ready to explore market.”
Phil’s pitch to Melo: "Kobe’s a hassle to play with"
Kobe’s pitch to Melo: “At least I’m not JR Smith”
Dude, social media is blowing the fuck up about this LeBron rumor. Word is talks broke down and he’s leaning towards leaving Miami.
I think he’s going to Dallas. It makes too much sense. I am going with Dallas.
Melo will stay in NY, and next year Phil is going to try to pair Melo with Durant as well as whatever that draft pick is. If the NBA is smart, instead of giving the #1 pick to Cleveland yet again for them to fuck it up, they give it to NY.
Wow LeBron controls free agency
Feels like all this talk about Lebron and em is smokescreen.
Lakers bringing in Joel Silver is just sad.

Truthfully though should Lebron really have to take a paycut? He’s worth so much to a franchise that going into the luxury tax should be worth it.
I really hope that Dallas can get a good FA but imagine getting Lebron, The Mavs would be a Championship contender rather than just a run of the mill playoff team. I just hope Felton plays better than he did in NY. Also if it’s not too late, put me down as a Mavs fan
I would imagine that some of these teams are enticing opportunities for Bron…but Cleveland? Really? Is LBJ supposed to just forget about the giant bitch fit that Dan Gilbert and the city of Cleveland threw after he left?
I wanna say phoenix and dallas are the best bets for LeBron. Lakers have virtually no chance, Cleveland is just LOL, and Miami has a slim one.
Does he only want a 2 year contract or is he open to a long term one?
And that’s why in the real world employers never burn bridges with talented employees. A good company always allows and encourages employees to seek better opportunities, provides a great reference, and then makes sure they part on good terms. In the real business world you never know what happens down the line and good relationships are what determine careers.
Dan Gilbert, without me even having to look up his history, it’s obvious he has never run a business and he was simply born into money.
The problem with these so-called “best bets” is that they’re in the west. All 8 of the teams that made the playoffs from the Western Conferense are solid, and there are 2 to 3 more that can hang a loss on a team if they try to coast. The Eastern conference only has the Bulls and the Pacers. The Bulls aren’t a threat without Rose, and the Pacers have some issues to work out. Granted the balance of power can change as the years go by, but this has been the reality of the league for quite a while. As of now he’s pretty much got a free trip to the ECF, and a legitimate shot at home court advantage. Going to the West means that every series is likely to be competitive, and he’ll have to work harder during the regular season.
Dan Gilbert founded Quicken Loans. And some of the most successful businessmen are or were assholes. See Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg for example. Already forgot about Donald Sterling? The billionaire slumlord racist who according to Elgin Baylor wanted to run the clippers like it was a southern plantation. There have also been studies done that show many top executives exhibit personality traits that would be classified as psychopathic.
In other news. Raptors re-sign Patrick Patterson 18M/3YRS. Masai Ujiri signing players to reasonable contracts. That’s a rarity in today’s league.
You need to stop paying attention to reporters putting out bogus claims.
LeBron hasn’t been in the country or paying attention to what’s been going on. He’s been focused on spending time with his family. His agent has been taking calls from other teams, but that’s about it.
Any of this “talks broke down” mess is faux. There haven’t been any talks at all. He’s been waiting all along for Wade/Bosh to be settled first.
These sports reporters are worst than gossip bloggers right now, and mofos are eating it up.

Pay attention to the lyrics in the beginning. He did that on purpose.
Don’t pay attention to none of these clowns on social media til after the weekend, seriously.
