all this lebron drama just feels like it’s intentional to give ESPN some shit to discuss
i’d be pretty shocked if any of them leave. they’re basically a lock for the finals again next year, why fuck it up?
Wish I could hit agree multiple times for a post. … thats all it is. …just a ploy for ratings…I haven’t thought for one sec Bron WANTS to leave. …but Miami does seriously need some buffs… which I think theyll get sometime this summer…
so you mean stay in NY right? cause that’s the only place see him going (lakers are in a worse situation than the knicks, the other teams i don’t even think gave him an offer)
Chicago offered Melo a 96 million dollar contract and Thibs was talking to him for hours before even getting to the United Center to talk to the GM and Owner. They also had the entire team on hand to talk to him at different points including Rose.
96 million is pretty good and the most they can offer without a sign and trade, which the Bulls front office is also willing to do. They don’t want to trade Taj in a sign and trade but will to get Melo all his 125 million and him on the Bulls.
The Bulls were reported by the local media to be confident they did everything they could do to lure him here but I still don’t think he’s coming. He’ll likely stay in NY.
The Mavs and the Rockets also offered him deals but Melo isn’t going to the Western conference. He likes it easier in the East for sure and no way he goes back to that shark tank of teams.
Regardless of destination whatever contract Melo signs the numbers are going to look bad in 2 years. Doubly so if the team that signs him doesn’t start winning immediately.
They already amnestied Boozer. Giving up Taj would leave them depleted. Definitely not worth. Honestly, I question them giving up Deng. I’d rather give up the questionable Rose.
