KLOVE pls

No, I insist LA enjoy all the phenomenal talents of Linsanity. As a Laker fan we’ve suffered long enough and deserve the FA that will turn the Lakers around in the right direction. 15 mil is honestly a bargain at this point, LAL in 4 baby!

Based Jim Buss 4 lyfe, Kobe gonna win MVP and carry the team all the way with Lin!

LeBron let peer pressure get to him badly. This is what his friends wanted more than anything. They didn’t want him to leave in the first place.

But the writing was on the wall with his family moving back to Ohio. So for that, I’m happy for the guy. At least he gets to make peace and shed some of the label people gave him the past four years.

As for Heat, this changes everything. Bosh is going to Houston. Granger/McBob committed under the impression LeBron would be here, so they may sign elsewhere instead.

Great news is we have TONS of money to spend on other players.

*Couple thoughts:

1: Spurs didn’t just beat the Heat, they put their foots so far up their asses Lebron decided to go back to the Cavs and wait for everyone to retire before attempting to win another chip. LBJ is 1-2 against the Spurs, he could easily be 0-3 against them if not for Jesus Shuttlesworth.

2: I love uncle Drew, but he hasn’t played an entire NBA season yet. Dude is hella young and still has a lot of untapped potential. Clevland doing anything rests on how well Kyrie can play and if he can stay on the court.

3: EAST. IS. WIDE. OPEN. My god, I’am so happy about this, Ainge has picks on deck and a lot of pieces he could swing to rebuild faster. Hype, hype, hype, HYPE.

4: I like the Wizards chances, alot. Young up and coming team who are only going to get better over the next 2-3 seasons. I don’t know how long Nene and professor Miller will keep playing, but if they add another a few more pieces I can see them becoming what the Bulls were pre-Rose injury.

5: Heat is about to have a TON of cap space and a few options. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Riles somehow grab Love and someone else to stick it to Lebron. I’m anticipating this move in fact.

6: Thunder, Rockets, Clippers, Mavs: This is your chance. The Spurs, while a fantastic team only is going to get older and their key players will be retiring soon. That combined with the East being softer than a babies bottom means that if you guys get out of the west, the chip is damn there assured.

7: Melo, Bosh, Love, Monroe and Pau just became incredibly important chess pieces on the free agency board. Outside of LBJ deciding to go back to Clevland, these guys can potentially change the entire climate of the league.

With the East this open Melo should definitely come to Chicago now. Who would be our competition? Toronto? Atlanta? LOL. I’d still rather the Bulls trade for Kevin Love but not convinced Paxton can make it happen and even less confident he’d resign without Melo. Maybe if Rose comes back and balls out we’ll be fine on resigning whoever we sign.

I like the East being this open again, feels like a breath of fresh air. The West will be scary with the Spurs and Rockets both retooling, and the Thunder needs Gasol to beat Houston imo. They should still be able to beat the Spurs but the Rockets with Bosh would have the advantage against the Thunder imo.

Rockets/Spurs Dominance could lure Durant to the East. Durant is New York’s Obi Wan, them niggas only hope for a chip. Be funny as hell if he signs with the Heat/Boston/Chicago in a few years just to troll the shit out of them.

Also Stephen A Smith is a fucking Wizard. This nigga JUST reported Lebron is rejoining Cleavland yesterday then Lebron resigns with them.

When Stephen A. speaks all should listen. Dude is the truth.

I don’t see how the East is “wide open”

The only competition Cleveland has is if Melo goes to Chicago. Even if Washington brings Ariza back, they make it to the ECF at best and that’s only after pulling off an upset against either Cleveland or a Chicago roster w/ Melo.

Do any of you realize just how good Lebron James is? It’s amazing that he’s still underrated b/c he doesn’t go about winning games the same way MJ and Kobe did. Those two won games and chips simply b/c they were amazing 1v1 offensive players. Lebron is an amazing all-around player. He’s more like Magic than an MJ or a Kobe. He sees the play to make before it even develops. He legitamately makes the players around him better not by getting them open shots, but he provides leadership and instills confidence in them. As a comparison Kobe and MJ simply said, “You better hit these open shots or we’re trading you to Siberia this summer” - leading by fear.

You can pretty much erase any beef between Kyrie and Waiters now. That’s getting quashed immediately.

Wow, such vulgarity.

But I do agree with the sentiment. No need to rub it in though, Bloo. Who knows, LA might actually be good with Lin, right?

Melo better go to the Bulls I swear to fucking god.

Going to Chicago is dumb for Melo. Rose won’t play because he never does. All they have is overhyped Noah. If he really wants to win he’s better off in NY, who were the #2 seed just a season ago, and who have all the cap room next year. I expect the Knicks to actually be a top 4 seed next year because the East does suck, and Miami drops out of the top. Pacers look finished. Sure maybe Cleveland gets that top seed, but after that there’s not much. Maybe Washington.

So the bulls want Wade…what?

Actually I like Melo in N.Y. Next season they’ll have a fuckton of cap. Phil has made some decent moves already. I say stay and make your own groove.

The main reasons why ATL didn’t stay above .500 was because 1. Horford got injured again and 2. Everyone else had minor injuries right when our schedule got really difficult.

The Hawks have been meh for as long as I can remember but that doesn’t mean we’re total shit or something.

The Knicks overachieved that season and everyone knows it. The problem is everyone chose to ignore that and believe their own BS.

Then the Knicks got way too addicted to 3’s in that offseason by trading for Bargnani, what even gives you the idea Bargnani will help you get more wins?

And then overpaying J.R. Smith and have him continue being a dumbass that he is even more.

That’s what happens when you’re a New York team. No such thing as overachieving to them.

Going to Chicago is the best thing for Melo. The Bulls made the playoffs the last two years without Rose, and fought hard all season. The team is full of overachievers, elite (top 2) coath, and are one of the best defensive teams in the league. Their weakness the last two years was generating offense. Rose returns, add Melo and that weakness is gone and possibly even becomes a strength. Cleveland would be the only worry in the East (granted a huge worry). Melo is already 30, I don’t think he wants to wait however many years for Jackson to build up the Knicks into title contenders. The huge pay cut hurts though and is probably why Melo is taking so long to come to a decision.

T-Wolves would do a trade for Kevin Love without Wiggins as long as the Cavs do the trade with a 3rd team supposedly.

  • LBJ is great, but have you seen that Cavs roster? Yeah, Lebron will definitely help these guys grow and tap into their potential but that’s not going to happen in the course of 1 or even 2 seasons. Most of the Cavs roster is 20-25 year olds.

Kyrie finally played over 70 games in an NBA season this last year. Uncle Drews offense is magic, but his defense is Harden-esque.

I always liked Varajao but his last name is “When he’s healthy”. When he’s healthy he is a really solid to good player.

I like Waiters, his dual vs Hardaway Jr was great, but he’s about to go into his 3rd NBA season and his big defensive problems.

Triston Tompson is a nice piece. He’s going to grow into a very good position and be a good contributer. Key word is “grow”.

Wiggins, while the biggest NBA prospect is still going to be a rookie.

Wiz has a group of young rising stars. Chicago without Melo is still a scrappy hardnosed team, with Melo they actually can get buckets. The Heat will probably reload, they’ll have something like 40 million in cap space. The Pistons is going to get better when they all start gelling together. The Pacers problems are all mental.

Hawks, Bobcats and Raptors are “threats in the east”. As for Brooklyn… Actually Brooklyn would be in a great position if they weren’t so old, nearly washed up and over the cap limit.
