40 points? You can’t have blowout games in the playoffs. Speaking of the Warriors, Next Gen 2K14 players can get Ruby Iggy until the Warriors are eliminated from the Playoffs
Rashard stretches the floor while having better size to deal with PF matchups. Also has been pretty good covering passing lanes and starting fastbreaks (had a game with 5 steals months back). Doesn’t matter to me either way.
The fact that we have two 7 footers and aren’t using them is the only issue. I liked Justin ever since Heat drafted him two years ago. Wish they actually used him. A 7 footer with 3p range shouldn’t be shelved.
A lot of things Lopez should have never gotten the tech, in reality it was a travel by Dwight. Be should have never gotten a tech. Also by that same margin LMA should have gotten a tech for going right at the ref after a foul and this was right after the Bev tech.
Supposedly Marc Jackson, Scott Brooks, Frank Vogel and Kevin McHale’s jobs are on the line. I will just say McHale is safe because Houston ownership seems to be in love with the player he was, not the coach he isn’t. I think Scott Brooks is safe to as Presti loves him and that is his guy. Vogel is clearly gone with anything short of a championship and Bird doesn’t seem to care for him too much and Jackson probably gone just because of his bullheadishness, his lack of listening to anyone not him and his poor offensive strategies.
It is funny listening on ESPN shitting all over Minnesota like that would be some terrible job to have. Yeah they need to resign Love but the pieces are there and of course ESPN creams themselves over Phil Jackson coaching the Knicks. Even though NO ONE has talked about that possibility but ESPN and Phil Jackson has already said that is never happening.
McHale and Morey are friends that’s how he got the job in the first place. The second thing Minnesota needs to after resigning Love is to have Rubio learn how to fucking shoot.
Lost cause. Rubio’s had a shitty jumpshot for how many years now? With how much improvement? After a while it’s just the kid doesn’t care or just can’t shoot.
I’m of the notion that McHale sucks too, but it’s hard to just get rid of him when he was a draw for Dwight to come here in the first place. He runs the team like a college system, and you’ll get college results in a professional league that demands smarter, more efficient play, especially at the higher levels. You get rid of him, you risk disrupting the chemistry of this team and could potentially have unhappy Dwight again, which has been proven to be cancerous for his previous teams.
With Sampson taking that coaching job, we really haven’t been the same team and it’s obvious we need a guy who’s going to be able to reign people in. If we could somehow get Lionel Hollins as an assistant, and then get this team to buy in to defense, we’d be a much, much better team for it. We can score with anyone, and even though the play calling is atrocious, we wouldn’t need to score every possession if we could stop ANYBODY. We could sell the position to him as easing him into being McHale’s successor, and even if they don’t tell McHale that up front it would be in the back of his mind and put pressure on him to not suck so fucking much.
God good Jae, during the time that he “was talking” to NY about being a part of the FO I had to hear how stupid the Lakers were for not trying to shoe-horn Jackson into our FO EVERY DAY.
Minn would be a horrid place to be in the FO. Getting a big name FA isn’t happening there, and you have to over spend to get any that do, so your stuck building through the lottery, which isn’t the end all be all, but you have to then HOLD ON to those pieces you draft.
