The Official NBA 2013-2014 Thread: Spurs win Championship:Heat cooled off

So VC had a nice game and all of a sudden the starters except Dirk play really bad…

lol Joe Johnson

U just mad Kyle Lowry isn’t an All Star. LOLRAPTORS

There’s no way in fucking hell that Brow did not deserve allstar, especially in his own city.

Ty Lawson deserved it. Monta probably gave up at this point.

so the suns and the pacers are on local and nba tv
but you gonna show the cavs vs the knicks

yea the brow’s been beasting. coaches didn’t want love to be the only white dude.

List of players who make the All-Star team while averaging under 16-4-3 and 45% FG since the NBA/ABA merge: (from basketball ref)

Joe Johnson
Kobe Bryant (age 19)

Just look at the company JJ will be joining. I ain’t even mad.

i could fix the front office of certain teams
some of the shit is ridiculous

Raptors fans ain’t mad, we all knew Lowry was gonna get snubbed. Funny because his 20.43 PER ranks him 2nd best guard in the East after Wade.

No cousins either tho?

All Star selection is as terrible as ever, it is like neither coaches, players or fans can really figure out who the fuck should be on the team.

First to 100

Screw the all-star game.

Not gonna sweat Cuz not making it this time around. The all star snub seems to be the trending rite of passage these days. And you know team record plays a major role.

Was however pulling for The Brow. He was beasting up until his injury and his team is suffering. Would’ve been nice for the hometown Rep.

I get the infatuation with Blake and won’t complain with his recent improvements. However I cannot for the life of me see why Dwight’s still got ppls infatuation.

Was however hoping coaches would see how Cuz has been dominating against their teams.

Doesn’t help there’s way too many bigs in the west also getting snubbed.

NBA is lacking serial SG stars.

Every position goes through cycles. It looks like it’s SG turn to be bad.

The golden era of PGs continues.

the 3 time 2013-2014 nba championship belt holders: golden state warriors

no Cousins sucks, but glad Dirk got in …

on the Joe Johnson note, there is not that many SG’s worthy to be an All Star in the east anyway

maybe Arron Afflalo? but I never watch Magic games …

Today is the last full day of the reign of tyrant David Joel Stern although you helped globalize the league and make it substantially more profitable. The rest of your legacy will be defined by ruining the game for many and being an egotistical self-serving hypocritical asshole.

On behalf of the people of Seattle, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Antonio, Dallas, Toronto and every other city with a team in the NBA Good Riddance you will not be missed.

Good friend of mine was interviewed at the Celtics game on Wednesday. Wish I’d caught it; I was at work.

I did a facebook post saying the exact opposite haha.

And my teams are the Wizards and Hornets

Looking back at the Malice in the Palance, I find it weird that I was actually watching that game…I didn’t care about the Pacers at ALL. I liked Artest from his SJU days, and I was a large Piston’s fan - even had a Ben Wallace jersey - and half of them were former Wizards anyways…so they were like a cousin team or something. It’s amazing how much that shit evolved, Ben going overboard on Artest, Artest trying to cool off before someone hit him with half a cup of beer, S. Jackson wailing on folks…and you can’t forget…

Don’t get comfortable. The next enemy is on the horizon. And it’s not Adam Silver.
