Well since some ppl mentioned that the strat thread should be moved or a new one should be made, I decided to begin one…and I would like to begin by asking the following-
1- What cancels are there in the game? I know you can cancel almost ANY of the 3 attack buttons to a special or super. I also know you can Super Cancel in this game (Special move OR Lvl 1. Super to Any super).
2- How does the chain system work in this game? …and while I’m at it, how does the juggle system work as well?
3- How is Delga Top Tier?
4- Can someone plz provide some Othellio & Delga 101s?
5- Are Alexander and Ifrit/Efleet/Ifreet really legit?
There are a lot of cancels, in general though it’s ABC combo, cancelled into 66(2) A/B/C or and then 236C usually ends your combo (certain characters can continue comboing after their 236C) or 214C. A lot of it depends on character and super, just because the characters all do play pretty differently.
This is a bit easier to explain. The heirarchy is as follows:
c/s/j A/B/C -> 66/662 A/B/C -> 236C
Of course you can also choose to extend your combos by replacing 236C with 214C and before the super ends, you can cancel the last hit and continue comboing where you can lead to your 214C x 3 combos which do very good damage, especially if you’re shifted. You can link stuff after your supers in certain cases, but that’s up to you to experiment and find out.
