- not hating this one. Unlike her first time in Mass Effect, I can actually believe that Kasumi’s who she says she is. I wonder if Jacob also got that vocal upgrade. I’ve yet to see him around in the game.
Not even sure how far into the game I am. Seems like they made it more cinematic, dumbed down the RPG elements, and made (some) sidequests more epic.
Maybe I need to play on a harder difficulty but it’s really easy too. Only died once at the first reaper fight so far.
Playing a Infiltrator with as many wep damage and headshot perks/gear possible and a black widow. Things just melt.
It’s for sure a tight ass game, like skyrim levels of crack. I just wish I could kill things other than cerberus chumps and lil reaper bad boys.
Infiltrators with Sniper Rifles are basically the easy mode class + weapon combo of the ME universe. They were probably the best class in all 3 ME games and basically just rip through enemies, even on Insanity. Soldier is probably the 2nd best when it comes to that in ME2 and probably ME3. The + weapon damage and + head shot damage bonuses on armor can lead to some broken stuff in general.

She kills herself if you side with the Geth, you need high paragon or renegade to get them to work together. Trick is to do all the side missions possible before moving on and doing a priority quest, as many side-quests are available only a certain points and can only be completed before certain events happen.

Yeah, loved the series, loved the game so far (about 25h in), friend told me how disappointed he was in his ending. So naturally i spoilered myself, looked up the endings and stopped playing now. My Shepard and my crew deserve better. I am actually emotionally drained right now without even playing that stuff.

It’s like we’re back to the NES days. Play an amazing game like Zelda only to get a one sentence thank you screen after beating it. Such an empty feeling. That’s how I feel about ME now. Amazing series but the ending ruins the entire experience. I didn’t think anything could top Dragon Age 2’s shitty ending but leave it to the same company to surpass themselves I guess.
