hey aint you the guy that wanted to work in japan so bad but then was told that you at least need a degree before even thinkin of doing so?
as for your question, i knew one guy who’s in japan on a holiday visa and teachin english but from what ive seen he aint doin so good. id recommend you not to do the same thing.
Lying about having a degree is not a good idea. Any place that says you don’t need one is BS.
I don’t know what you are thinking about or planning, but please take that advice to heart either way. No matter how much you want to come, shit can go south in a hurry.
yes sir, that would be i
man, i have no other choice. i dont have a bachelors and the only way is if i go on a working holiday visa. just wondering if theres any success stories with that cause im gonna go that route regardless, since that’s my only option. i’d rather take a chance than not take a chance at all.
Yo’! Do we have anyone on here that serves or lives on Yokota Air Base? I live in Musashifujisawa now. I’m about 15-20 minutes away by car and I need to hit TACO BELL up something awful fierce.
What! Yokota has Taco Bell?
I wanna thank those who came to FRJ03!
Who’s going to GodsGarden2.5? If you plan to go, get the ticket at Lowson and find Lawson Ticket, then put the number 39479 or search for GODSGARDEN.
I hear that Hooters will be open in Tokyo sometime in Autum. If it opens before TGS/SBO I wanna reserve for the party after TGS/SBO. anyone against it?
I go to the gym here on the regular. Most gyms run on a monthly fee system but I would advise that you check out your local community center first. When I lived in Nakaitabashi, the community center there was huge and they had a gym/basketball court. I had to pay a daily fee to use the gym (¥500) but it was much cheaper than a real gym membership but there were less machines, no free weights and a gang of old people.
Currently, I go to Tipness which is a chain gym. I pay about ¥8900 a month for a plan that allows me to go anytime I want. Once, I get a new full time job. I’m going to upgrade to the super membership so I can go to all the Tipness gyms in Tokyo.
If I was single this would be a fuckin’ goal mine! Especially, now! There are so many women in my gym trying to hook it up. It is ridiculous!
At anytime when I’m downtown, I can take a shower. (This is a life saver in the summer!)
You can improve your Japanese. The people at my gym talk to me a lot.
*Most gyms have some kind of campaign going on now. So you my be able to get a month for free. Also, some gyms will give you a discount based on your progress. For instance, for every kilo you lose they will give you a ¥100-300 discount.
yeah I read about those community centers but people said you should speak japanese and I dont. And I really need free weights for deadlifts and bent-over rowing.
8900 a month would be ok. do the people working in the chain gyms usually speak a bit of english or have english registration forms?
haha seriously? in my gym here there are usually like 10 dudes trying to impress 1 girl by using more weight than they can handle and walking around like an action figure.
^The community centers are random since there is no set standard but it’s easier to use because there is no registration. You just pay as you go.
If you go to Tipness, remember that the monthly fees are based on location. In other words the closer you are to downtown tokyo the more expensive it will be.
Man, thats with all gyms. Everyone has to get their He-man on!
question,
how illegal is weed over in japan and what are the consequences of getting caught smoking it?
how hard is it to get? and how expensive is it?
ill have to stop smoking weed if its that illegal over there
