I went to Japan on military leave and loved it. The girls were easy (a guy that barely knows japanese scored easily) and people were really nice and respectful (including the gangsters), so I want to know if there where any FREE sites to make a pen pal.
Also. what’s a good place to live in Tokyo? All I really know is that if you live in Roppongi, Shinjuku, Harajuku or Shibuya, you are supposed to pay a shit load of $$$ for shitty apartments. Plus a lot of places don’t allow gaijins for some reason. Err umm…yeah.

At a-cho on January 9 till 11th they are having the Capcom All-Star Olympics! They’re having tournies for almost all of the major Capcom fighters. The tourney is round robin style, so if we enter we’d actually get to play more than one match lol. Here’s the schedule.

Azrael - Ah, good ole A-too. The one on the main street has like, games on the first floor, music/movies on the second floor, manga on the third floor, anime stuff on the fourth floor, eroge on the fifth floor, and like, porn on the sixth floor. Something like that. That store is pretty sweet.
The other one near the family mart in the back street has like, 3F anime music/manga, and then like, 4F eroge/anime etc. That one is good for manga, I’ve gotten some great 100 yen manga there…but yeah…very ???, lol.

Can you guys give me any ideas as to where to get a real fuckin cheap tv? I just want something that I can sit on my desk and watch some anime on TV at night while I do my homework and stuff. If a-cho breaks your hearts (it tends to do that) my place is a 25 minute walk/5 minute taxi/train ride away, so thats nice and convenient. And I already have two sticks.

My Japanese is super rusty so this may be backwards, but IIRC the way I used to think of it was that wa attracts more attention to what comes before it, where as ga attracts more attention to what comes after it. Keep in mind that was my rationalization being a 1st/2nd semester Japanese student, so it may have no bearing whatsoever on actual conversational Japanese.
On a related note, sorry to be a cock and come to this thread to ask for a translation, but here I go:
If anyone has a free minute, could you translate the top part (the first big box- regular pattern etc) and the last part (one point [of] advice, etc)? Someone asked me for a translation, and I’m way out of my depth. Part of me wants to pour over it with my dictionaries and translate it myself, but real life is kicking my ass right now and I’m looking for work.
