Anyways I am hoping we can make this a repository(not to be confused with the suppository you are going to need after getting anally reckted) for all info and stats for this awesome game.
Cannons; when they fire they will hit squares that weren’t highlighted so be careful
Shards; not sure if this is the overall term for them but the shards I got act like materia that you equip to your weapons/armor. Make sure if you get them during a campaign you equip them otherwise they will be sold. They can’t be used like other items until after a quest.
Word Filters; don’t seem to be any, lots of spots to type in all kinds of profanity in this game lol.
NIS recently started releasing their games on PC. Digaea, htol#NiQ and Stranger in Sword City have been released on Steam. Phantom Brave is coming next month.
So some tips I found on Gamefaqs and some of my own.
**Some of my own tips.
Items: When going into the field you have two sets of field items you can bring along(Unless you are doing the travel mode) located under Supplies. You also gain items both consumable and equipable during your quest. Some of these items can’t be equipped in some situations until the goal has been met, and other like consumables are sold after that as well. You should try and use the consumables as much as possible, especially if you know you are going into a fight you can avoid or are going after bounties which can be tough.
Friendly Fire: Remember that EVERYTHING can affect you and your enemies, so if you heal an ally next to an enemy there is a chance they can get healed as well. Attacks that hit multiple planes on the field can be lethal if not coordinated properly, especially with Lancers and Dragon Mages. Even when you have an enemy surround on both sides you can still damage your troop so be careful.
Healing: At lower levels, if you are trying to heal someone with a medic, AND they are REALLY low on health, throw your heal potions NEXT to them as the actual bottle hitting them could kill them lol.
Pyroxene: Shards, orbs, fragments and whatever ALL have specific skills they are attuned to as designated by the jewel icon that they display. If you aren’t sure what type of skills your unit has and is currently looking make sure you take a glance at the actual skill setup page as it will also have jewel icon for individual skills located on the bottom of the screen in the descriptive text.
Assist: Generally speaking you want to use the highest damaging skill you have as an assist, as it seems to make them trigger when the enemy has more hp. Some skills that have limited use can be set as assist and will not count against usage limit such as with the Shaman’s Dark Spark skill. This might not be entirely accurate though, will have to further test.
Skills: Set these in a manner that will enable you to string together higher combos. This means you will have to balance out their range, knockback, juggle, and their gauge usage. Sometimes you can get certain situations that allow you to extend your combos such as having an enemy pinned against another enemy or the edge of the screen as well is some sort of Just Cancel ability that I am still trying to figure out. From it seems the Just Cancel works like an actual Link and must be done on like the last from of an attack animation.
Skills 2: Your units have skills that they can only use when you are on the map portion of a quest. Some of these can be EXTREMELY helpful, one that stands out is treasure warp that can help you beat quest by not only avoiding fights but also through keeping you from wasting your precious steps. And it’s cheap to use as well.
Will post more about these when I decide the other ones are worth using lol.
Welp looks like the best way for me to level up right now is to find you a character with that 30% party exp skill and pair them with the person that has the field skill Exp that gives you 300% exp for a fight and just go on the travel quest. All you do is hover around the heal chicks and keep going back until you get holly to heal you for free and give you 10 tp which you can use for your field skills.
Also probably want a character with that treasure search field skill so you can grab all the items that let you raise your ranks from chest.
Also this Evanidus dude is a best, nigga stay at the top during wars.
