Didn’t know such a great thread existed. I’ve just gotten back to FMA: Brotherhood after a hiatus (on episode 44 now), a fantastic journey so far in my opinion. Azrael mentioned there are only three episodes left? How many episodes away from the end am I?
Being out of the loop, I’d not known the manga had ended, was this recent? Does anyone know when the final volumes will be published in English? I’d like to support the magaka when I can.

Well, the anime has ended as well. I was kinda hoping they would expand a bit on what happened in the manga, but they pretty much kept it as-is (except the part about Havok?). Not a bad thing.
Don’t hold me to this, as it only flashed on-screen for like a second, but I think they announced a FMA movie coming to theaters.
Incredible anime, incredible ending. Very very satisfying. This anime will be in my all time classics.
I hope youre right about the movie AZ…now that FMA is finished i only have three mangas left. :sad:
The anime had a better ending than most anime these days, I was pleased with it.

Was I seeing it right? Did Ed and Winry have a couple children? I have only read a couple chapters in the manga so hell if I know. Arakawa gave little to no indication of Ed and Winry ever getting together if they in fact did get together

They don’t show anything like that in the Manga but Ed does promise 50% of his life to her. Equivalent exchange an all. She promises him 100%…or 80%…more like 60%…hehehehe

i hope the mangaka is involved in the movie story this time around.
the only thing i didn’t like in this series was how quick the villains (i.e. donkey kong and co.) became allies. dunno if it was different than manga, but the progression in anime was instant.
I’ve been looking for this thread for a while. I thought FMA is perhaps the best of Japanese Anima I’ve seen thus far. Very good storyline & very interesting characters.
I’m only sorry I missed last weekend’s episode… Maybe I can find it on YouTube or somewhere.

Ed pretty much proposed to her at the end, albeit in his way of thinking through alchemy. I just thought it was funny how she accepted.
Just finished watching the ending of the series with me and my girl and basically anything I have to say has already been reflected in this thread. Mustang with Truth upgrade and his eyesight back has to be top tier. I want to see some of that in the movie. I’m gonna have to buy this series once it’s out fully over her on dvd.
