Fma is only 3 yrs old…which in an anime pov isnt considered old:rolleyes: … shit, ppl were watching dbz like 9 years after that shiit finished in japan…
WOW I did damn I was only fucking around and made something up. lol
Fresh to others! Man I should show my nephew robotech season one and tell him to post a thread on it.
How many people would tell him that’s an old and crappy show that’s out dated though it’s fresh to him?
Me superior no I just don’t need to rely on a torent or cartoon network for my anima.
That is bloody blasphemy.
Jokingly playing doesn’t count.
I liked the movie, but since it was my first introduction to the series I was a little lost. Good stuff regardless. Nazis, dimentional gates, demons and magic…pretty sweet IMHO.
The anime was slightly better than average, and that’s it. It had its decent moments (both emotional and battle-wise) and an incredible soundtrack. . .I just felt that the plot just got kind of convoluted at the end.
Btw, the manga is far superior to the anime. The storyline is a lot more coherent.
It’s kind of funny how, in America at least, everyone considers the anime to be THE primary story. Reading the wiki entry on FMA, it definitely emphasises the anime. But the manga is the primary story, and the anime is just an adaptation of it.
Sometimes it doesn’t matter that much, but in FMA’s case it kind of does, since the anime broke off and went in a waaaaaay different direction, and concluded. The manga is still on going.
Might check out the manga one of these days, if I ever get through the 9729343 better titles that are out…

Maybe the tradition of naming threads “official” was handed down the Hayato family line for many generations
And going strong. The story seems to be entering a new arc even, there’s still quite alot of story left to tell it seems.
I still contend that the anime is one of the best on the market.
But, read through volume 14…the manga RAPES it. The fact that they rationalize every single solitary event or idea in the story is mind-blowing. The level of detail to the world’s own logic and rules is astounding. The characterizations are in general more detailed, and the plot is more complex. Definately an incredible read. If you aren’t reading it yet, you really should be.
FurryCurry, you STILL have the DVD I lent you of the first few episodes. Watch that shit, bum.
Its not really that funny, I mean anime is still just getting wide spread exposure in America and by exposure I mean on TV. Comics in America are still a mega subculture but Japaneses comics would been even more sub then that I figure.
But yeah FMA is great, movie was ok but it felt a little rushed but animated Hitler ftw lol.
It is funny
…and sad.
did anyone see the movie?
I did, it was quite sad, esp. for you know who.
Just caught up to 66- Sloth is totally badass!
I agree. You know who got totally screwed (ironic pun intended) in the anime… for the rest of you know who’s life.
FMA anime: good. English dub: good. Manga: haven’t read it yet.

Has Ling overpowered Greed yet? He seems to be able to do things that he normally would, like deliver that message to Ed, but due to Greed’s influence he’s a dick about it.
lol…thats hillarious!
