What about there? Tahiti Village and the rooms are for 4 people, only two miles off the strip and third night is free so it averages to about 53 dollars a night. Seems like a super good deal. Check it out though.
Wiz posted that EVO rates are going up in the next few days, so I’m gonna wait to see if they’re cheaper than that site
I owe you for letting me stay in your room that extra night that we forgot to book last year, so if you want to stay in my room I’ll cover one of your nights to make up for it
I am in the same boat dude. I’m trying to get a job as soon as possible and save up for Evo. It’ll be my first time there. I still need to figure out expenses, who would actually kick it me so it won’t be expensive, and probably other stuff. It seems like a lot of calculations but I’m not that great at math. Can someone help me too? lol. I seriously hope everything works out.
Mandel If you want I could help you budget for evo, I could deposit for you in an online savings account so it’s hard for you to get a hold of it until it’s time to pay for evo, or even just help you make a budget, whatever is clever I am down to help.
everyone else whose first time it is going to evo: Evo CAN be done on the cheap, trust me. I only went last year, but I probably spent less on Evo than MOST people on this forum other than the plane tickets (Axels has a hookup with someone who works for an airline, so he gets tickets hella cheap).
Last year I believe I paid… I am going to say 300 or so for my tickets. I played in ONE poker tournament with a 50 dollar buy in, and then 20 more dollars on poker, and then about two meals that were at restaurants the entire three days. So other than plane tickets and evo fees I spent less than $100 total!
I made sandwiches and brought power bars and fruit to eat. I also brought plenty PLENTY of clothes, because 1) Everyone knows how gamers get at tourneys, and 2) Vegas is HELLA warm outside, so you will probably feel like changing clothes multiple times per day.
Another tip is to be friends with people you can stand for three days, and as many as you think you can deal with in one room. We capped out at 3 in our room which had two beds, I don’t mind sleeping on the floor at all so it was cool for me.
Basically if you are there primarily FOR GAMES, evo is completely affordable. The 2 biggest ways to make evo expensive quick is eating out every meal, and gambling and strippers or prostitutes. Also keep in mind word on the streetz is the prostitutes will jack you off onto your own stomach for a “finish” so you are better off saving your money.
Hi Gina, this is Julian, aka my “boy name” as you put it is airthrow. That still cracks me up when I remember that.
If I see a hot black ho again, I am probably going to to tear that shit up. I don’t even know how I resisted last time, that breezy was a dime piece on the real.
Airthrow… thanks for the commentary. Honestly… I’d be going to Evo for Evo. I’d hit penny slots probably… but I’m actually pretty good at making $5-10 last for a long time that way.
Oh… HeavyD… don’t forget to shave. Just trying to help.
I have yet to be fucked with at the airport and you’ve only seen me without my hair having a life of it’s own. Of course I’m scrawny as shit so take that for what it’s worth.
I don’t plan on getting drunk for this either since it’s only 3 days.
