Now that I have a job, I can say that I will be going to Evo this year. However, I am not good at figuring out what will be most cost efficient. I kinda need someone to hold my hand and help me figure it out. lol. It’s all good though. Some how, some way I will be there.

room cost is probably about $75 a night split between the people you share the room with
Zach, something seems off with the $75, it doesn’t sound like it includes various fees (resort fees, taxes). Either way, it should be the cheapest hotel room in years.
Did my own caluclations, here’s what I got:
$288 + $25.92tax for Friday and Saturday Night, Resort fee and taxes included.

$218 + $19.62tax for Thursday and Sunday Night, Resort fee and taxes included.

$515.54 = Grand total for 4 adults

$137.89 = Total cost for each person from Thursday through Sunday night.
Is that based upon the Evo room rates? Where are you getting your rates from?

Sounds like you’re using the math $84 + 30 + 30, right? I used the math “$84” and that’s what I believe we’re all going with.
I know that on sat. After the games and what not I’m going to moon @ the palms to see marcus schultz…clubbin in vegas is too bomb…as long as you follow the dress code 
Vegas last weekend has me really wanting to go to this just to go to Vegas again.
Not sure what I’m doin yet, but I’ll definitely be hitting the clubs while I’m there…and pfft, the dress code part is of no concern. 
So, I’m dropping out;; Got invited on a trip to Europe that I just can’t pass up, and any way I look at it, I just can’t find time in my schedule for both. Was really looking forward to Evo too, but Paris > Vegas.
I’ll still be cheering you guys on though, even if it’s not from the sidelines.

EDIT: Alaska Air seems to have the best rates. Some flights go from Portland, to Seattle, then Vegas. I like my flights Non-stop so I chose the ones above.
Dress code?
new to this whole forum so still getting used to the lingo and what not on here. So when you guys go to evo is everyone going to be on the same flight? I think it would be pretty dope to have like a summit before everyone hits the airport or something.
nah, that shit would be too hard to plan. I’m sure maybe a couple people have same flights, but I really doubt more than that.

Last year we didn’t plan to be on the same flights but I don’t think any Seattle people were alone on their flights there, I know I unintentionally was on the same flight with Brentobox and Paul Lee, but you should go to a gathering so you can meet people so you can recognize gamers on your plane flight. :tup:
